I'm sick and tired of people who main one class talking about nerfing other classes and making up ridiculous statistics and numbers. These people that don't understand game mechanics, yet complain about them. Like some of these people you wouldn't even think play destiny how off they are. "Lightning grenades are the only non-sticky grenades that can one shot people" Lightning grenades tick for about 122 damage, meaning they can't one shot. Incendiary grenades and scatter grenades are not stickies and they are capable of OHKs. "Throwing knives shouldn't be able to OHK" They DON'T. They do around 142 damage... To the head! If that kills you at full health I think your guardian has some kind of terminal illness. "Aim assist on snipers..." I don't think people who complain about this even know what aim assist does. It's on all weapons, but it acts differently on snipers. If you're walking around corners in places you know someone is hard scoped, then honestly I have no words for you. "Shot guns take no skill!" Well I guess if you had any you wouldn't die!!! "Shoulder charge is OP" There is a man running towards you... And you have a gun. Uuuuuuuuuuuse it!!!! If you let a titan run up in your face, chances are if he had a shotty he/she would have killed you anyway. People make the stupidest and most retarded claims here. If you have 3 hunters, you don't understand how any other classes work so please don't complain about them. The same goes for titans and warlocks. If you can't snipe, don't complain about snipers. If you can't shot gun... Then there might actually be something wrong with you (Lol) . But honestly, you people are trying to break the game and don't even know it.     Snipers need to do less body shot damage imo. When someone can body shot you and switch to a primary and body you again faster than you can kill them with any other gun that's pretty broken. Also why do Lightning nades only damage the user on the first pulse? They should damage the user every pulse but leave its damage and radius alone Also shoulder charge is completely fine how it is just don't allow people to slide than shoulder charge to get extra distance Fair changes?

    • I just dislike how people stick to the same shit, or maybe I don't know how to counter it. The Grenade/smoke/one body shot combo. Axion bolt and one body shot. Get me every time

    • I don't have any problems with shoulder charge except when people give you some advice and the only solution they have is tlw or mida or meta shotgun. Just saying shoot them with your gun doesn't help with how shit most non meta primaries are.

    • 100% agreed. I really don't know why people are complaining yet they have minimal hours on the character. Its funny because no matter what we say, there will always be those annoying kids who will complain anyway.

    • I main Titan, but have 21 days played on warlock and 23 on hunter. Anyone saying that one is better than the other is stupid. One may be better for your gameplay, but all are very viable and people only call for nerfs on subclasses that they can't play IMO. Also, Fun fact, Kep sting, incendiary throwing knife can one shot. go invis and get a throwing knife in the head from behind and it will kill them with the DOT from the blade and sting.

      It's not that Lightning grenades 1HK, it's that lightning grenades do two ticks of damage (122 each) in the first second or so that it's thrown AND it's kill zone is ridiculously huge compared to other grenades. Heck, I've been killed behind cover because there was a lightning grenade pointing towards the back of my cover (front in terms of the grenade) over 10 feet away. Also, it lasts about as long as a trip mine does (when not detonated) and does far more damage than one as you'll likely be dead before you can run through it vs trip mines which you can run through most of them and if not, you'll just be mostly dead, but safe after it explodes. They also have infinite shoulder charges that are each a 1HK and easy enough to catch people with as a smart titan can sneak around maps with it and get you unexpectedly, not to mention that it often auto aims to people BEHIND you, you know that they missed but then pushed the button and the game goes "well that person is alive and you passed them, so now they're dead, gg titan". Heck, titan is my second favorite class to play, but strikers feel so broken right now. Lightning grenades need either a AoE size nerf, or increase time in between ticks so it doesn't feel like a 1HK. Shoulder Charge needs a much longer cool down and aim assist nerf. This is all besides the fact that Twilight Garrison allows max armor/recovery titans to outrun my bladedancing hunter with high agility with all my swings coming up short no matter what I do. Unless I'm running bones, it's hard to catch even a gliding warlock if they're not awful at evasion. Considering hunters are supposed to be the class with the highest maneuverability, it's a slap in the face to let what is supposed to be more of an elephant class dodge every blow I try to make. /rant Defenders need a nerf to their suppression grenades. Having the grenade remove your jump is bad enough, but it also acts a throwable tether that pulls you out of your super and removes your abilities. You can't get away from once it touches you unlike tethers. Nightstalkers have to wait forever to get their bow, and once they do it's usually escapable. Why use a NS tether when you can have two (armamentarium) suppression grenades that recharge every thirty seconds? Suppressions need both a time of suppression reduction and remove their ability to pull you out of your super as that's truly broken. The only similar ability is reserved for a subclass's super vs these portable ones that last longer, but do the same thing. Also, they do a decent amount of damage considering the effects they have towards players as well. Hunters are pretty balanced overall now (despite still coming up short on swings when enemy is still within range), and warlocks are fine besides stormcaller melee range really. Their super, while great at wiping teams that bundle up, are relatively fragile as they get no additional armor (similar to gunslinger) while still having to be pretty close to actually zap anyone. More recently it feels like they've reduced your hands cone of damage so you have to aim pretty well now too.

      • SC being "op" is an embarrassment to players that know how to not die. If you're so good at sniping, no scope melee them. Good shotgunners rarely die to SC. I personally think I'm pretty average and I do these things on a regular basis. It's not that hard to kill SC titan. Stop complaining.

        • Your shoulder charge one is invalid, just because my play style doesn't allow me to always have a shotgun I need to die because they can run 2 feet and insta kill me? Even in the air? Around a corner?

          • You can put all the facts you want in front of all the people on here. This will have no effect on the one faction it's meant for. This faction is known as the "Nerf Herders" and they will never stop my friend. I do appreciate your efforts though. You get an upvote from me.

Everyone knows that primaries are the least effective means of dealing damage in this game. If this was the situation, unless they started running at you from sniping distance, SC would win every time. A sniper would require a Lucky AF no scope/quickscope headshot to make the kill and a shotgun wouldn't have the range to kill. Fusion's are an option, but in all seriousness, <10% of the population are running FRs.

            • Titan skating makes shoulder charge a problem in my book. That build up of speed makes it so easy for a Titan to get close to you really quickly with little time to react.

                You are also generalizing a bit in some of those, the biggest one being your shoulder charge example. Sure it's not OP from a purely mechanical standpoint, but as the game is it it's definitely a problem. The problem with shoulder charge is that the game lacks good sound design and generally informative feedback. If we had this it would probably be better. That said people really just need to look at the deeper issues at play here, rather than screaming OP.

              • are we all forgetting that strikers have absolutely NO RANGED ABILITIES. and with our regular melees you would have to be practically hugging us. maybe if people actually knew what it was like to be a t-rex titan they wouldn't be always complaining about all of our OP abilities. close quarters combat makes up THE ENTIRE SUBCLASS, INCLUDING THE SUPER. strikers use shoulder charge only because the alternative is juggernaut, and shoulder charge is more fun.

                    Just with the 'shotguns take no skill- if you had any you wouldn't die' statement, that implies that Destiny is a game where exerting a greater degree of skill in an encounter means you win that encounter. Having played more than 10 seconds of Crucible I have concluded that that cannot be farther from the truth.

                    • Agreed on all but one, shoulder charge. Shoulder charge should not be able to throw the least agile character around a 90 degree angle with ease, and then also OHK. Either damage needs to be nerfed or the ability to point it any general direction without taking in account the fact that titans should not have this kind of agility
