I'm sick and tired of people who main one class talking about nerfing other classes and making up ridiculous statistics and numbers. These people that don't understand game mechanics, yet complain about them. Like some of these people you wouldn't even think play destiny how off they are.
"Lightning grenades are the only non-sticky grenades that can one shot people"
Lightning grenades tick for about 122 damage, meaning they can't one shot. Incendiary grenades and scatter grenades are not stickies and they are capable of OHKs.
"Throwing knives shouldn't be able to OHK" They DON'T. They do around 142 damage... To the head! If that kills you at full health I think your guardian has some kind of terminal illness.
"Aim assist on snipers..." I don't think people who complain about this even know what aim assist does. It's on all weapons, but it acts differently on snipers. If you're walking around corners in places you know someone is hard scoped, then honestly I have no words for you.
"Shot guns take no skill!" Well I guess if you had any you wouldn't die!!!
"Shoulder charge is OP" There is a man running towards you... And you have a gun. Uuuuuuuuuuuse it!!!! If you let a titan run up in your face, chances are if he had a shotty he/she would have killed you anyway.
People make the stupidest and most retarded claims here. If you have 3 hunters, you don't understand how any other classes work so please don't complain about them. The same goes for titans and warlocks. If you can't snipe, don't complain about snipers. If you can't shot gun... Then there might actually be something wrong with you (Lol) . But honestly, you people are trying to break the game and don't even know it.
Thanks for all the likes and comments. I appreciate the support guys!

I must say i listen to podcasts which have explained the aim assist situation with snipers and im sure theyre right but seeing my 6 year old no scope enemies whilst not really aiming for them still has me wondering.
-
Oh my god yes! Some people just complain on and on and on! They just keep on going! They just pester and annoy you with their stupid opinion until you start to think what's wrong with this guy? Ughhh... I totally agree with you.
:)
Editado por Pete: 8/23/2016 11:46:55 PMMy issue with shoulder charge is the shotgun shoulder charge or the slide shoulder charge it's extremely frustrating to play against in pvp

God another person moaning. If you Cannot take getting killed go play Pokemon.
-
Shotguns it's one word buddy. Learn to spell.

3 RespuestasWhat bugs me is when you use a fusion rifle to disintegrate a shoulder charging titan and they kill you anyway instead of blowing past you like a sweaty titan scented fart on the wind...
-
3 RespuestasFor the titan running at me, I shoot him with my supercell and he eats all 36 bullets and I die. Or I am approching a corner and a titan just shoulder charges around the corner to kill me. Even with these things happening I still don't care or think they need a nerf. Because when I play as a titan and I can't do those things to easily I know it takes a little skill to pull it off.

I can't use special weapons at all. I'm that bad .-.

50 RespuestasI think stats will shows Titans getting the next nerf, and shotguns, but hopefully just universal remote. Possibly storm caller

9 RespuestasI think I understand the game well enough to know what is op and what's not. I think we can all agree that the warlock has always had the most annoying and cheesy abilities.

Editado por queenmeeny77: 8/23/2016 7:04:34 PMI read your fantastic post and then made the mistake of reading some of the most ridiculous comments I've ever read. People, lightning nades tick 3x (if they work at all) with time between each tick. It is very easy to time the tick and slide or jump over if you REALLY need to go that way (or maybe wait). If you get hit with first tick and you don't move (or can't because you are camping a tight area) any of the spike type grenades would kill you. Suppression grenades suppress, so maybe don't go ham sandwich on a freaking defender (they are pretty obvious looking, they glow purple or wear a huge hat. Visual cues, guys) when you are charged with a super unless you have backup. And good lord stop running into their bubble if they are glowing unless you have 2-3 other people with you. Shoulder charge. *sigh* I can count on one hand how many successful SC kills across two accounts I got this IB. Seems like some of your bros learned to counter it. Get with the program (and enjoy everyone running juggernaut and eating your snipes). There is a reason there are three character slots. There is an old book called "The Art of War" that describes knowing your enemy as well as you know yourself as being the only way to win. Please play all three classes regularly. If something is making you angry, switch to that class/perk/weapon and play with it until you know how others slip it and use the knowledge. I made the mistake of only playing my mains and my baby warlock and found I could not counter hunters this IB. That means I need practice with hunters, not that they are broken. That's how logic in the face of the overwhelming human need for confirmation bias comes in. (BTW I know my stats invalidate my opinion to those who can't logically debate these basic facts and use the "look over here" argument for everything. I've had enough of that in the current US election to last me.) The only thing in this game that is OP is the damn latency that allows me to get 1hk by a boolean through the wall.

3 RespuestasI wish you could toggle aim assist off. 9/10 times it actually messes me up. Shooting one guy bout to kill him, partner runs by and my aim starts to track the other guy instead. Like wtf lol

Editado por P3RZIANZ3BRA: 8/23/2016 7:28:01 PMThis post is absolutely gorgeous! To expand on how AA works, here's a little something I wrote up: To make it factually known for anyone who doesn't know at this point, this is how AA works, and the components that make it work! Aim assist is broken down into two categories: Reticle Assist, and Bullet Magnetism ~ Reticle assist is basically how sticky your reticle. It makes your reticle stay a fraction of a second longer on an enemy as you move your reticle over them. Useful for Primaries, but not so much for Snipers since an enemy running in front of your target will pull your reticle away just enough to miss their head. Bullet magnetism is what helps your shots land when it seems they don't. On Primaries/Specials/Heavies, (Excluding Rocket Launchers and Snipers of-course!) it is mostly there to make up for the various ranges of weapon classes. (Bungie has confirmed that aim assist is also tied to your weapons range stat.) Do I think that lowering this would be nice? Somewhat. I know almost all shooters have bullet magnetism but it does seem destiny has a bit more. Here however, is where snipers set themselves apart. They are not affected by bullet magnetism. Reticle assist still affects them, but aim assist does not essentially widen the hit-box like people think. If you want to see for yourself, test it out. Use all the various weapon classes with various Ranges and AA in a controlled environment, and document the results. Maybe post them here! Or make your own post about them! Or keep them to yourself until the time presents itself to show them! This is reason AA on Snipers to be so construed: Hit-boxes, and how different things can affect them ~ Hit-boxes! Now let's get down to the nitty-gritty good stuff! Let's start with AA. Aim Assist, and many already know, affects how big the Hit Boxes are for the following weapon classes: Auto Rifles, Pulse Rifles, Handcannons, Scout Rifles, Shotguns, Fusion Rifles, Sidearms, And Machine Guns. (Swords have a whole other level of AA lol.) It generally goes like this: The more AA a weapon has, the bigger that weapon's hit-box. Yea... that's about it. Now we have Angles of Attack. Different variations in Vertical and Horizontal position in regards to a potential target effect how big that Hit-Box is. Let's say you are directly above a target. The Hit-Box of that target is reduced drastically! Since only the head of that target is presumably being shown, it would make sense that the Hit-Box is smaller, right? The same can be said for being directly below a potential target. Now it gets a tad confusing, but still relatively simple. If you are looking at a potential target from any angle not stated above, the Hit-Box can be contorted in many ways depending on relative distance to the target, and the angle of attack. There are 6 Hit-Boxes for any target that is a 2-4 legged creature, whether that be a Guardian or any filthy casual alien you may come across. Those six hit boxes are categorized in two separate damage variations. critical and regular damage. The critical damage multiplier is activated when that respected Hit-Box is being hit, but you already know this. And you could probably take a wild guess what the other section is ;). The angle of attack is where it gets tricky to explain. The Hit-Boxes of a target change "shapes" (not by much, but still) depending on your angle of attack. This, ladies and gentlemen, is why shots land when they probably shouldn't!
-
People always want to make excuses as to why they are losing. It's never any fault of their own. By their logic there must be something wrong with the game.
-
Yeah, bullet magnetism isn't a thing in Sniper Rifles..But people should stop pretending that reticule slowdown/stickiness doesn't help you land shots you shouldn't have.
-
Agree with most of it... SC needs some tweaking. Not a nerf... tweaking. Unfortunately Bungie doesn't tweak... they prefer to render things useless.
-
2 RespuestasShoulder charge isnt op, its just broken. Sometimes it doesnt hit if the guy is right in front of you and sometimes i get killed even when i blink like ten feet above the titan lol

3 RespuestasEditado por Darian: 8/23/2016 1:33:15 PMSnipers need to do less body shot damage imo. When someone can body shot you and switch to a primary and body you again faster than you can kill them with any other gun that's pretty broken. Also why do Lightning nades only damage the user on the first pulse? They should damage the user every pulse but leave its damage and radius alone Also shoulder charge is completely fine how it is just don't allow people to slide than shoulder charge to get extra distance Fair changes?
