Titans are the only class to have a one hit melee, one hit grenade, and shields while super. Any class can be shut down during a super. And hunters and warlocks can be killed during a super by one shoulder charge.
The only people who would disagree with this are mainly Titan focus players. I play warlock and hunter mostly. I even believe that my Titan is overpowered and I hate to use him because of that. I just want the game to be fair. Warlock melees are a little out there but not too excessive. Hunters seem to be the most difficult class to play as of right now, but I enjoy the difficulty.

Hunter, Hunter, Warlock. Opinion invalidated.

I didn't read it so I downvoted. That's what you said right?

Hey! Hunter main here! I'd like to point out that 1) Hunters have backstab, a one hit melee. 2) Flux Grenades, a one hit grenade. 3) Bladedance, a super with shields. Also, warlocks have, 1) Fusion grenades, a grenades that one hits! 2) Scorch, a melee that one hits while in super. 3) Radiance, a super that has shields. Further more, why should all classes even have these things. Not every class needs to be the same. Thats not what this game is about. It's about diversity and using what YOU want. This is VoG, with your factual tidbit.

I disagree and main a hunter ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

2 RespuestasEditado por H_TOWN_BALLA_80: 8/23/2016 9:39:04 PM
Hunters seem to be the most difficult class to play as of right now, but I enjoy the difficulty.
I'm a Warlock main and have a 335 character for each class. I'm average on my Titan and Warlock but can pick up my Hunter and far outperform my other 2 characters according to strictly stats. My past month on Hunter is 1.32 with a lifetime 0.99. My other 2 are lifetime 0.98 and 0.97 and monthly's of 0.98 and 1.00. I'm not a Hunter main, I'm average according to stats until I get on my Hunter. Either Hunter is a lot easier than people make it out to be, or I don't give myself enough credit for how much I am improving in PvP. 2 RespuestasHello?! Storm callers have the potential to dish out 12 kills in one super. Longest melee range on all of their subclasses, ONE HIT KILL WITH SUNSINGER MELEE, self revive in crucible with increased shields upon just touching someone with your fist, TITANS HAVE to kill for their melee powers to proc. Stormfist is NOT a one hit kill, it required some damage unless the opponent is running low armor. Stop whining. You already caused one of their subclasses -blam!-in useless you whiny -blam!-in bitch. Sunbreaker are a joke because of people like you. Defenders are situational. The only good class is the Titans Striker subclass. Their super is meant to clear objectives. And that is why they are given unstoppable. How about you use the subclasses the way they were meant to be used before whining they're over powered?

9 RespuestasFlux grenades, scatter grenades, skip grenades, and fusion grenades are all OHK grenades that are available to other classes. Lightning grenades also are not OHK grenades. Fusions are available on sunsingers. Magnetic can OHK but if you sprint they won't. Backstab. Shoulder charge is not the only OHK melee. Also, here's the thing about shoulder charge... Shoulder charge is a high risk/high reward ability. There are many counters and it puts the striker in a very awkward and risky situation. Starting with the activation, a titan must keep sprinting meaning he can't shoot or throw grenades at anybody and he's got no extra armor leaving him completely vulnerable to you. Then during the animation the same stuff as said before happens. Now if he misses this means he's in a very bad situation but a good one for you. You will be able to easily take down a titan that misses his shoulder charge because he will have expected you to die and he will be stunned to see you alive. The best way to get them to use it and miss is to either back up, run away, or jump at the last second. The clean up the titan. Now for the counters. As stated before a titan attempting a shoulder charge is very vulnerable as he can't shoot, throw a grenade, and he doesn't have extra armor. This means you can use any method to take him down. Here are the main counters, primary weapon fire, shotgun, sniper spam or headshot, grenade, weaken then melee, heavy ammo if you have any, super, team shot, back up, run away, or dodge at the last second. Those are he basics to countering shoulder charge. Shoulder charge is actually one of the easiest abilities to counter. You can do all of those things and here's the key, pay attention. Striker aren't invisible on your radar. If they are coming in you can see the huge red blob on your radar or the enemy running straight at you. Also no one said you had to stay standing there, you can run as I said before. Now if you get shoulder charged because you were focused on another enemy and you couldn't pay attention and counter it, well here's the thing, you would've died to that enemy anyways. He would have killed you with a grenade, melee, special, primary, or super. The point is you would be dead anyways. It definitely cannot shutdown supers. Max armor voidwalkers with the ram can survive a shoulder charge. How do you expect it to kill a person in a super if it can't kill that? Every super gets extra armor except for golden gun, and for a very good reason for golden gun. Warlocks get a mobile AoL buff with radiant skin. Stormcallers and bladedancers get the same amount of damage resistance as HoS. It all comes down to your armor stat. If you choose to run low armor, than that's your choice and you have to deal with the consequences. Finally, I have to ask, how are titans overpowered when they striker and sunbreaker are both sitting in the middle of the pack? Those two subclasses are right where bungie wants subclasses to be at. They are perfectly balanced. Defenders are way below the everything else and way below where bungie wants the subclasses. Hunters are the ones at the top. They've always been at the top and it's looking like they always will be on these performance charts. Hunters are designed for PvP. They aren't overpowered. They just fit the PvP style better with their design. Titans are fine.

Flux grenade, backstab, and bladedancer armor. There you go, another class with a one hit kill, one hit grenade, and shields while in super. Tell me again how hunters are difficult if those the the qualifications for being OP.

Stuck the -blam!- away from my Bubble.

Titans are fine. This is coming from a warlock/hunter main.

I main a warlock, and my hunter is my second most played character, so I'm not the Titan focused player you implied would disagree. I disagree. Almost every single thing you said is demonstrably incorrect. This is just a list of bias and misconception. Downvote.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooo, you suck at this game and instead of manning up you came here to cry. Got it.

20 RespuestasEditado por CarnivalLaw: 8/22/2016 3:39:35 AMOne-hit-kill melee? Where? Edit: And your Titan was so OP that you deleted him to create another Hunter? Yeah. Right. LOL
-
10 RespuestasBasically what you're saying is Titan was too hard to use and you were embarrassed at your kd so you had to delete it. Then you went into crucible and got destroyed by other Titans. So you came to the forums to cry about how Titans are op and hunter take skill to make yourself feel better
-
TL;DR: titan isn't op. Just buff the other. classes. Listen. I main a warlock. Back when I could play on all three continuously, I played on all 3. The game is what we (the comminity) have made it to be. So if titan "seems" to be op. It's probably because we've nerfed everything else, making the Titan the best to play. So, instead of saying the Titan is op, ask that the other classes get buffed. Everyone needs to stop complaining about the tree specific perks for the classes/subclasses. Each guardian has something that makes it "said guardian" Complaining about the classes abilities is absurd. That goes for every class. The only thing people should be complaining about is. "This is too weak compared to this." I remember 6 months in, the game was fun for pve and pvp. Now, because of all the nerfs pvp is in a constant cycling meta. Mostly sniping. Our guardians are also the weakest they've ever been across the board. (Speaking mostly on abilities, supers etc. Our character stats are still the same, besides the armor we get for supers, which as you know has been nerfed substancial ly for pvp sake) If you run through all the patch notes from the beginning of time to now. You'll see what I'm talking about. Coming from a very avid pvp player, I'm all about balance. But I'm also for keeping the game fun. And ruining what makes each class, that class. Is the wrong way of going about it.
