Know this is the lore section so im assuming we all know that the traveler was gonna abandon us when the darkness came. So my question is we know the traveler is healing and if it wakes up before the the darkness what does it do? Does it stay realising with us we have a fighting chance or tries to run away in fear possibly taking the ghost and guardians with it. Third idea is it leaves but empowers the ghost ten fold and revives all dead and creates more ghosts. Would be interesting.

9 RespuestasOur ghosts begin to indicate that the traveller is waking, nobody knows what to expect - earth's defenses are armed, could the traveller be attempting to leave once more? It has been slowly repairing itself but the warlocks are suddenly aware that it's repair is almost complete. The traveller begins to illuminate, the sky is filled with bright white light, as if a star has formed upon our planet. Suddenly, a small dark hole appears in the glowing white mass, a door opening perhaps? A bridge begins to form between the hole and the tower, guardians are ready to take action manning every point of defense - what could emerge from this mighty power? Something emerges, a humanoid being? It's hard to tell at this distance, is it coming towards the tower. The travellers light fades, and it becomes clear who is walking towards the masses of guardians ready for the worst. "No, could it be?!" The speaker steps up to his plinthe and calls out all through the tower: "Harambe has returned" Cut to Destiny 2 trailer screen - coming soon.

No one knows. Not even Bungie, they haven't thought that far ahead yet.

5 RespuestasIf the traveler was going to leave it would have. Instead it saved us and made ghosts. The implication is that our solar system is the only one left that hasn't been ravaged by the darkness, leaving the Traveler with no choice but to stand its ground. The only worry of it coming back would be taking back the light it's using to sustain us.

If that happens then it's back to the good old AK's and 1911's

It wakes up hung over, scratches it's ass and shits the bed. Is there another way to wake up, if so, I'm all ears.

I think we guardians are slowly killing the traveler, as our light grows (light level) its taken from him and he will slowly die off.

1 RespuestaWe kill every enemy/faction before Destiny 10 Destiny 10 launches End of ten year plan,Traveller absorbs all light in universe, from everybody and reclaims all ghosts: leaving us human and able to die at last. Factions in Tower make peace, vanguard disbanded Traveller disappears, retcons everything and leaves us with strangely disappointing, happy ending.

If it is anything like when I wake up in the morning, she/he/it/whatever is going to wake up the neighbors with some loud farts and at least one courtesy flush. That is only if this plays out like one of my typical mornings.

When the Traveler wakes up, sees what we've done. Says it's going back to sleep since we're doing just fine. Hangs a "Do not Disturb" sign on the Moon. Goes back to sleep

9 RespuestasDo we know for sure it was trying to run? I know it left the Fallen high and dry, and that Rasputin had some protocols in place if the Traveller tried to run... but do we know for sure that it actually did? If it was trying to run, and Rasputin wrecked it, I'm not so sure it would be terribly inclined to help. If something else happened, and we do wake the traveller, will it recall its ghosts? Will it need the light it grants us once it starts turning on? Or will our powers grow as the Traveller grows stronger? Once it wakes, what will it think about the Fallen? Will it apologize, explain why it had to run? Will the Fallen forgive the traveller? Will they become allies, or are they out for vengeance? What is the Traveller trying to accomplish? Is it just a benevolent thing that tries to cultivate civilisations because it's just really nice? If so, why did it wait so long hiding in Mars? So much time was wasted. I think it will wake up, we will get more powerful, but also realise that that we are doomed if we continue to follow the path of the traveller. I think we will discover a third path, one that allows us to be the masters of our own Destiny.
