Eris is an awoken. This guy ignores a lot of the lore to fit his vision.
-
Can you tell me specifically in the lore where it says Eris is awoken?
-
Well we can look at the in game version of her and she looks awoken. There aren't any cards just a in game look. If not awoken then human is the only other option
-
She looks Awoken. Since when did Awoken have green skin and three eyes?
-
What ? You do know she stole the those green eyes and she doesn't have green skin.
-
She stole those eyes? You mean her eyes were taken, or ripped, out of her skull and she needed new ones? Or she grew the middle one?
-
She said the hive took her eyes and so she took theirs. She was blinded but had taken hive eyes to see.
-
Interesting. I thought she was a child from a human/awoken mother and hive father. Perhaps growing up Catholic and watching too many movies about Demons and demonic possesion biases my perspective. On a class lore side note, I think she's gonna be part of Destiny 2's other 3 classes; hybrids of Titan/Hunter, Titan/Worlock, and Hunter/Worlock. Eris being a hunter/worlock: Druid perhaps?
Interesting. I thought she was a child from a human/awoken mother and hive father. Perhaps growing up Catholic and watching too many movies about Demons and demonic possesion biases my perspective. Lol that doesn't make any sense XD. She was normal when she came into the hell mouth. Also I just get an image of a thrall in a suit waving bye to baby eris as he goes to work. On a class lore side note, I think she's gonna be part of Destiny 2's other 3 classes; hybrids of Titan/Hunter, Titan/Worlock, and Hunter/Worlock. Eris being a hunter/worlock: Druid perhaps?
You mean new classes that took things they liked about two classes and smashed them together. Are you a Ork?
-
Not really. What I meant is the classes are distinct but have variety in their stats. To give you an example; I have 4 accounts with 1 of each on each account. One account has a hunter who uses Blade dancer, another uses gunslinger, and a third uses void walker. The characters are unique. They aren't carbon copies. If we get the opportunity to create Vex, Cabal, Fallen, and Hive characters, there should be more classes developed. The way it is now, you have a character that can choose 3 loadouts. These loadouts are damage types; arc, void, solar. The roles of the classes however should have more depth. Any game that wants to grow adds depth; not just in story lore, but also in class lore. That's all I'm saying.

Editado por Ghost593835: 8/21/2016 2:52:32 AMVex, cabal and hive would be against humanity. Fallen house of judgment would be an ally.
-
And you read the lore written by insane people (namely Eris and Toland the Shattered, the mentally Shattered) literally.
-
You seem him mad but do you think with out toland we could ever beat crota ? With out toland eris would not have survived. Crota would of came and destroyed us because of her dying in the hell mouth. Toland understands the hive, does understanding make you insane ? Your view is very closed. I think it's time for me to not waste your or mine time. You take this theory as truth and I will leave it that way. I gave you evidence which you reject. Why don't you share this theory with ghost stories.
-
Editado por ILoveGaming: 8/21/2016 2:15:56 AMNo, understanding doesn't make you insane, but he thinks that Guardians should adopt the sword logic. And these things I rejected were things I had seen, considered, then rejected even before you showed them to me. I rejected them not because they didn't fit what I wanted but because I found flaws when comparing them to the rest of the lore.
-
Should adobe sword logic ? In away we already do. We kill and again More power but we don't do it all the way, Adopt it fully. That is what toland doesn't like. It blows his mind what we do. Instead of take we give. He wants to teach. He wants to maps the hive universe.
-
That's your interpretation, and I respect that.
-
And I can respect yours but either way we know eris used his book to survive the hell mouth. Do you think we could of beaten crota at his full power with out being warned ?
-
Additionally, I apologize if I seem closed minded particularly to you, but when a person comments
Cancer. So much cancer.
And then blows up every comment made on the discussion, how do you expect them to react?
-
That was a joke XD. . I'm also sorry if I seem to come off as an ass hole. I just look at these threads and just go. Face Palm. Another eris is ______ theory. We. Might as well say Mara is Savathûn. The cabal work for xivu and xivu is the emperor. The traveler is the darkness and the maker of the vex. The fallen were destroyed by the traveler but not come to destroy it. The deep Is good and the traveler is evil. So on. I think I'm going to ban myself from #Destiny is general and stick to lore groups.
-
It's okay, I forgive you. Also, I'm sorry if this theory seems absurd, but I do state that from the beginning.
-
I know but theories like this says the lore of destiny doesn't matter. None of its cannon. Toland is insane there for what he says are lies and so on.
-
No, actually, I think that what Toland say matters very much. I just don't think that he's perceiving reality the same way that we are, and that reduces his credibility.
-
Editado por Ghost593835: 8/21/2016 3:18:22 AMEven tho with out him we would all die. Which increases his credibility. Toland in his mind has no reason to lie to us.
-
Editado por ILoveGaming: 8/21/2016 2:29:51 AMI explain why I think we defeated him in my article, because not only were we warned, but a Hive God was telling us all of his/her brother's (Oryx's) weaknesses. Crota was an extension of Oryx, and the Hive believe that to become stronger, they must fight and kill one another. But to answer your question, I think that if we sent more than 6 people at Crota, we could have killed him.
