It's not affecting me at all. I saw that the better experience was on PS, so I bought a PS. That was my choice, just like your choice was to buy an XBone. If the exclusives were on XBone, I wouldn't complain. I made the choice to buy what system I play on. Yes, I paid for my own system.
Bungie never said the exclusives were for 1 year. People assumed that they were because they got them after a year in the past. Bungie could remove all exclusives from XBone, and there is nothing that anyone can do. Also, "At least Fall 2016" means at a minimum, it would be Fall 2016. Bungie never said they were going to be released then.
This all comes down to assumptions. Just like some legacy players assumed that they would be getting RoI, which again, Bungie never said. Half of the posts on the forums are based on assumptions, rather than facts. Bungie has also neither confirmed nor denied that the exclusives wouldn't be released. People read articles, and assume that it is true. Until Bungie addresses this, then I wouldn't believe any articles.

Half of the posts on the forums are based on assumptions cos, for the most part, bungie don't actually discuss the important stuff so people are forced to assume 'oh this must be what they mean'. The one exception to this was their annoubcement about legacy consoles being dropped which, if they had approached it the same way by just changing a detail in the fine print, would have been pretty brutal.

Why you chose to buy xbox1 or ps4 is irrelevant. You make your decision and you live with the consequences. Op knew he would have to wait on exclusives if he wanted to play on xbox with his friends and now doesn't want to wait, or at least as long as he thinks it [b]might[/b] be. I've been here since beta and I only remember them saying ps gets it first and being kinda quiet on exactly how long it it would take for xbox to get them

So it is ok for them to screw over half of the community just because they never said that they wouldn't? Maybe they didn't put it in black and white but it is just common curtsy not to have someone pay you for a full game and then give them half of a game.

You didn't get half of a game. You got the exact same as everyone else. We PS4 players only get exclusives because Sony is paying for them.

I am mostly talking about legacy consoles, the reason Destiny was do attractive was because it promised a long term game, so for them to take that away is just criminal.
