Short answer no longer answer nope
-
No, but they're good for Cryptarch rep so I would keep them

Editado por ZiPpEr: 8/21/2016 7:52:41 AMThey most likely won't give you Rise of Iron gear, but it's good to keep them because they will probably become light levels above 335. But don't do it immediately. I'd say keep them, get tons of blue engrams, get leveled that way at first, then open them when the hard mode raid comes out. That way you can get them up to 400 light.

If you're asking if they'll possibly decrypt into new stuff, the short answer is no, they won't. After ROI releases, if you decrypt them, they'll become TTK items. Bungie does this specifically to deter people from fast burning through the new content. Decrypting them all will still net a lot of rep with the cryptarch and can lead to new shaders, emblems, or legendary engrams though.

1 RespuestaYou won't get any yr3 items from them, but no harm in saving them anyway.

6 RespuestasPeople say yes, people say no. I say we don't really know. We haven't been able to carry weapons over like this before. Yr1 didn't carry over to TTK. Granted, RoI isn't considered yr3, but it is still a major expansion. Also, Bungie is bringing over yr1 armor (Iron engrams). Right now, noone can really say yes or no.

You'll probably be close to like 385 when you're done decrypting them. This is what I'm doing too.
-
They will drop at new light lvl it's what I did with ttk so it's old gear but it infuse material
-
As others have said, no, engrams you buy now will not drop ROI gear. However, you can stockpile engrams to raise your reputation, which then gives you packages which will contain new gear.
-
no but decrypting them in y3 will bring your cryptarc closer towards leveling up to get y3 rewards
-
Unlikely
-
They won't and nor will any other engram... However you'll still be able to get them decrypted into rep which will in turn give you brand new engrams and such...
-
3 RespuestasI've heard not but if u save them and rank up your cryptarch he'll give you engrams that will give y3 rewards.

Editado por AscendantPotato: 8/20/2016 3:13:30 PMWith expansions the consensus has been that engrams are essentially time-stamped for gear within that particular expansion. People will say that it worked with the April update and they got the new stuff, but that was an update within the same expansion (TTK) so there wasn't really any reason to think it wouldn't work. However, I've never tried it myself so I can't give you a guarantee. What I can tell you is that there is no harm in saving them because worst-case scenario, you'll be able to rank your cryptarch up quickly and get new gear from those packages. So unless there is still gear from TTK that you're missing, you're not losing out on anything by saving them. I have everything I need, so I've been saving my exotic engrams just for the sake of ranking up for cryptarch packages.
