This gun is seriously OP. I mean it out classes all other scouts in pvp and i feel most all other guns in pvp.
100% inaccurate. There are several weapons with just as fast of a ttk as mida

Hawksaw, grasp of malock and tread upon stars just to name a few.

Two out of three are pulse rifles. Im. Talking about scouts or something with the same effective range. Pulse rifle does you no good at a certain distance just like a auto rifle. And the grasp has already been requested to be nerfed.

Check again when I quoted you. You weren't just talking scouts. Mida isn't op, popular yes but not op. Hung jury, treads and colocances duty all have the same time to kill rate

No read the sentence emphasis was on scouts, it was mentioned first and i added on other primarys too.
No read the sentence emphasis was on scouts, it was mentioned first and i added on other primarys too.
Just because your emphasis was on scouts doesn't negate you talking about other weapons as well. Which in my reply I stated other weapons(not just other scouts) have just as fast of a ttk as a mida. Then I replied with other scouts that kill in just as many shots and have the same effective range as mida. Also you claim mida is "op" and are calling for a nerf when you have exactly 0 kills of any kind with that weapon. Which means you don't think it's "op" from personal use and testing but rather because it killed you. That's pretty much the definition of biased ignorance my friend.

I dont need to have kills with that specific weapon to understand basic functionality i also dont have to use that specific weapon to understand implementation. I use scouts all the time so i understand them perfectly. What u seem to fail to understand is the implementation part. I don't knw what u do for a living but im a dev and work on design and implementation all the time. Ill explain why the gun is op, The gun is supposed be used effectively at x meters when contrasted against similar weapons. In return of having a lower range(r) it has a higher ROF. If the maps the weapon are used on are <= x then that effectively makes the weapon > than its peers because the r reduction is no longer present. At > x the damage should be reduced but its not because x is never greater than r. But then that ties into other weapons because that gun is at the pinnacle of ranged weapons. If you include range into your calculation when determining effectiveness of a weapon all other weapons then succumb to the fact that the weapons who excel at range no longer have a cap they can reach. And when one weapon was based on that whole premises of effective range and you take that away the weapon has now gotten a leg up.
I dont need to have kills with that specific weapon to understand basic functionality i also dont have to use that specific weapon to understand implementation.
I read nothing beyond the above quote because it invalidates everything else you said after. It is impossible for you to form a fully informed, unbiased opinion/evaluation of any weapon in Destiny with testing it yourself. You were killed by it and you're just trying rationalize by analyzing statistics when you don't have all the information and the info you do have tells little in how weapons handle. Take a treads and a lethe noblesse. Statistically they're damn near twins, yet they fire and handle differently. Basically you logic is flawed and without merit.

You didn't read it because your lazy lol. This is why STEM should be taught to everyone. Do you know what general relativity is? Do you know why calculus is important to general relativity? Because Einstein never being able to see or "use" the fundamental forces of the universe was able to predict everything we are just discovering today with statics, math, equations and so forth. I have never driven a Lamborghini but if you give me some specs i can tell you its 0-60 time, quarter mile time, and stopping time. But no im biased because its faster than my challenger.
-
Not lazy, just not going to waste my time when you lack the info to make an intelligent argument. If you honestly think you can make informed opinion without using the weapon you're worse off intelligence wise than I previously thought
