If this matters that much to you, I wonder how you're going to react when you learn about actual hardships in reality.
There are people across the world who don't or cannot find adequate psychiatric care and develop harmful self medicating addictions.
There are people across the world who don't have access to proper medical care and will die from a simple infection.
There are people across the world who don't have access to potable drinking water.
There are people across the world that work for dictators, enforcing single minded oppression, simply out of wanting to provide for their family.
So, you shouldnt complain about anything ever. If someone asaaults you at least you werent murdered right?
This guy gets it
-
No. Everyone has the right to complain just like everyone one else. How serious an issue it is generally can be determined by how it infringes on someone's health/safety/inherent human rights. Also, I would say that being assaulted is better than being murdered. You can recover, with time, from an assault.

A problem can be serious without it affecting any of the above.
Also, I would say that being assaulted is better than being murdered. I didn't state my opinion as fact. I didn't state it as covering every issue and complaint with any degree of being absolute, as that is why I said "generally". I did not state anything in certain, or absolute, terms.
-
You got me on that generally part, but you still made it out to sound like a fact. If you can use a, let's call it uniform equation, for determining a value of something, then it's most likely a fact. Given there are a few exceptions, but you need to be careful with wording it.

Editado por Ezra Fell: 8/19/2016 11:14:39 PMI conveyed words with confidence, but how well can a fact be inferred if I wrote of it in uncertain terms without absolute definition of parameters and without certain units of measurement?
-
Confidence can sway a mind's perception of truth and lie. The parameters you provided were health, safety, and human rights, all if which have a damn near universal definition. Each can be converted into a numerical value and then calculate a "seriousness level" if you will.

It the same as saying "other people have something better than you, so you have no right to be happy."
To each their own
Someone with a brain. My long, hard search is over.
-
No. I don't think anyone is any better than anyone. I'm saying that I think if you are so frustrated by the minor inequalities in a capitalist system, you are forgetting more severe inadequacies, injustices, and inequalities that the human condition includes.
-
I didn't say one man is better than the other. I said one man had something better than the other, so the latter shouldn't express jubilation. The concept applies to both positive and negative subjects. As I said before, to each their own.
-
They are free to express jubilation in their own right. I simply think that to take such a minor issue as console exclusives so seriously is taking rather small issues too seriously.
-
So you're saying it doesn't apply to sorrow or anger. That's where you're wrong kiddo.
-
No. I'm not saying they don't have a right to feel however they want. I'm saying that they may have placed their values misproportionately. You're misunderstanding my statements as being of some austere ultimatum when I'm simply saying that I think the most minor inequalities in a capitalist system pale in comparison to other, more severe injustices.
