I would like to see the constraints of the contract they have with Activision. I'm sure they're not going to be able to part ways for Destiny 2, but maybe later on? At some point, people are going to have to step up against stuff like this. You can't release the same product on two consoles for the same price if you're going to go out of your way to block the content on one of the systems. It is blatantly unethical.
What I don't mind is having PS exclusive IB armor, because that's[i] extra[/i] content that's exclusive to PS. That's no big deal. But to block exotic guns, strikes, and Crucible maps is to add additional code specifically to limit what is available to one customer over another.
It would honestly be better if they only released the game on PS4. At least that would show some integrity.

I don't remember if I knew it or not, but I wasn't about to pay an extra $300 for a new console if that's what you're getting at. Just because I'm still willing to pay for the game doesn't mean that the exclusivity is in any way ethical.

They wouldn't, that's the point. It's more ethical to take a hit in profits than to charge the same amount to another customer with less content.

Bungie and Activision are companies. "Ethics" isn't important to them. They want money, plain and simple.

There's ways of doing stuff like this ethically. For example, the PS exclusive IB stuff is fine, cosmetic items are fine. If the PS exclusives were rare items that went obsolete after a week of playtime, that would be fine. Hell, if the exclusivity only lasted for a week, that would be better. A whole year just feels unethical.

This post is all over the place dude. You could argue that Echo Chamber, Jade Rabbit and Zen Meteor are extra content the exact same way as that hideous IB gear. Not to mention, no one ever had anything good to say about the strikes.

The guns have different functions which changes the game's dynamics, and obviously the strikes and maps are more gameplay. Armor is just armor.
