Rapid fire glitch...
Has anyone seen videos of people rapid firing their Hawksaws and Sidearms? It's seriously unacceptable and must be stopped immediately. I haven't played Destiny much this week so thankfully I haven't ran into those rascals but I feel sympathy for those who have. The funny thing is that out of all those videos there's always at least one guy that's in all of them, for obvious reasons I won't say his name but you could do some research yourselves and find out who I'm talking about. Anyway Forum Friends if you see them please report them and have a nice day.

Got killed by a Doctrine of Mida the other night. I have a Mida and I have also been killed by the Mida...a lot, I know what it fires like and I know what it usually looks like when I am killed by it. The person that killed me with it the other night had that thing going like a bullet hose. Maybe it was lag, maybe it was a mod...I don't know, but it was not normal

What of the player is using a custom controller that spams the fire input when they press the fire button? Like those auto-fire retro controllers for old 2-D games.

8 RespuestasI have seen rapid fire MIDA, Hacksaws and others. Have had full auto Hacksaws and they cannot fire that fast. Have had MIDA and it's never auto. Have had pulse rifles out fire, not outgun, my Monte Carlo (we all know no PR can fire that fast, none!). Those calling it lag, realize the players movements aren't accelerated to accommodate the increased rate of fire. They are still moving at real speed although their weapon is firing far beyond its design capabilities . That's called cheating. Calling it anything else is lying to yourself, the rest of us aren't fooled. I simply block any cheating I see more than 3 times in a game, no exceptions. Lag is frequent, but too many coincidences are very suspicious. Especially when those 'lag coincidences' always favor one player. As for Bungie, that's an inside joke. Want to get a ban, name the cheater. Want to waste your time, report! They are building $$ investments, punishing cheaters does not generate $$. Hate to call it, but, there is no PROFIT in banning cheaters! It's been 2 years and these programming geniuses can't program 'auto eject for green turning red more than 2X in an active game'.

5 RespuestasPeople exaggerate Destinys crucible problems way too much, always calling the lag or cheat card everytime they get outplayed. I recently played the crucible for the first time in ages for Iron Banner and have yet to come across any kind of lag or cheaters, just sweaty try hards which Destiny is nothing short of.

I have only noticed that Midas and Hawksaws has been fired like snipers but that's probably just lag.

I've just learned to spam the trigger as fast as possible. I didn't see the sidearm in this video firing any faster than I could have fired it. Someone who knows how to use a sidearm is super deadly. *edit* After watching the video again and paying attention to the weapons other than sidearms, I'm leaning towards cheaters. I thought those where auto riffles until you mentioned they was hawksaws. They was firing WAY to fast for a hawsaw. Yeah, this pisses me off actually.

I'm not quite sure what they're doing since Destiny has a RoF cap but whatever it is they are certainly overriding it. Most likely modded contollers or a mod box they are running their controllers through, could be software involved as well. Either way lets see that ban hammer swing boys.

The guardian on your team that was red barring, you should probably not play with them anymore...I would say the name but not sure if that violates coc... I'm not hating, or judging, just stating my opinion, based on your evidence... Your team looked suspect, not the other team...
