Deej and Cozmo: Clarification on PS Exclusives please!
Deej was [url=https://youtu.be/o46JXy1Wzm0]speaking with Destin[/url] from IGN and mentioned that details regarding exclusives could be found on the [url]www.destinythegame.com[/url] website. After digging around a bit (seriously, it's not clear where to look), I found [url=https://www.destinythegame.com/sony-playstation-exclusives]this page[/url] which looks like it's got the info we're looking for. The problem is, every single thing on that page - whether it was introduced in Taken King or is planned for Rise of Iron - is tagged with the single asterisk that at the bottom of the page says "Timed exclusive until at least Fall of 2017." The stuff from Taken King was supposed to be available to Xbox players this fall, I thought? Because on [url=https://www.playstation.com/en-us/games/destiny-ps4/exclusive-content/]Sony's Destiny page[/url], it mentions "Timed exclusive until at least Fall 2016." Granted, it looks like that needs to be updated because the content on that page also includes Rise of Iron as well as TTK content, but clearly Fall of 2016 was on the timeline at one point.
So you can understand the confusion, right? What's actually exclusive, and for how long? Will TTK stuff become available to Xbox players this fall as expected, or has that been delayed until next year? Can you guys please let us know?

Just because Sony paid more doesn't make their actions ok. I'd be pretty pissed if Microsoft pulled this on Destiny instead of Sony. It's a really low move. No amount of money can justify trying to tear a great game's community apart over petty rivalry to me.

37 RespuestasYou know what? I've decided, for the first time, I won't purchase RoI. God that felt good!!!! We always procrastinate about this. Questioning whether its a good idea or not. How can one person make a difference? I mean I won't buy the DLC, so what a 1000 more people will buy it. However thats not the point. The metaphor can be seen a a drop of water compared to an ocean, what difference does it make? In absolute math, A LOT. ...and it really brings to mind in regards to that aspect, that physically we can't see a difference, but the fact that you did is what counts. It doesnt matter if 10 or 100 ppl do it, as long as YOU did, others will soon follow and suddenly the ocean isnt so "full" anymore. Do what you feel is best. Still playing Ark, gearing up for Titanfall 2. Day one player, time and stats back my statement.

Editado por After Doomsday2: 8/20/2016 2:27:46 PMThis is my own opinion but I think personally exclusives shouldn't even exist unless it's cosmetic chroma/ornaments, changing an attack's coloration, vehicle colors, a ship, ghost shell, or a shader, exclusive levels and weapons should be a no no period or only be a 3-4month wait time at most a yr someone could pass away in that a lot of time literally. Making anyone wait an entire year when they paid the same amount of money is ludicrous b.s. especially if a new follow up game of that series is coming out only a few months later(Destiny II) those players don't even get to enjoy those items for nearly as long. Look for the 1yr an Xbox player gets to enjoy a PS exclusive that same PS player had those exclusives for 2yrs yet no one notices this redundant trend. Also making a game specific to a console is another thing that shouldn't be allowed, unless it's the consoles launch item because that provides rep and backers for said console. However, after some time that game should be made available to all consoles yet, give specific cosmetic additions to the original console it was made for or even base an a physical skin for the console and accessories based around that game. Again only cosmetic. I feel sorry for Xbox Players ( I have both consoles yet even I can tell this is an entirely unfair tradeoff PlayStation also had to suffer this with many Xbox Exclusive games such as GOW & Halo Xbox did too such as God of War and Fall of Man genre )

Or you know... you can blame Microsoft for not outbidding Sony. Xbox had more exclusives prior to next gen, now that next gen is here ps4 has more exclusives than Xbone. I'm sure if Bungie could release exclusive content they would, they're held to contractual obligations.

5 RespuestasMicrosoft and Sony both went out and bought a car called Destiny from a dealership named Bungie. Bungie told both that the car has cloth seats but for some more money they could buy leather seats for their passengers. Microsoft said no cloth is fine, Sony said I think my passengers would like leather seats and paid extra. They both signed a contract for the Destiny car and when Sony and Microsoft rolled up to pick up their passengers the Sony passengers said "nice car I like the leather seats." The Microsoft passengers were like "why don't we have leather seats?" Currently the windows are down in the Microsoft car and the Microsoft passengers are yelling out the window at the dealership and the car but not the guy in the drivers seat with the contract in the center console.

So there is no lie there Now if they said "by fall 2016" that'd be different. The theory I believe, is that the contract with Sony was that the exclusive content was contract from the taken king until the release of destiny 2. And since destiny 2 go pushed back to fall 2017, that exclusive contract got pushed back as well.

But i don't like that there are ppl crying beacuse they are not getting these stuff. I mean yeah for ppl that like to collect exotics i understand and the sector618 map is not even that good. It's 2 subpar weapons, 2 meh strikes, and 2 crucible maps, whoopdy freaking do, bungie never even stated the exclusives were a year until its released on xbox, people just assume that because they released all the stuff after a year the first time that they would again. Quit whining because you're on the console you prefer to play on, and it doesnt get those items, and be thankful that you can even play the game on it at all [spoiler]P.S. If it bothers you that much, maybe you should have gotten the game on the console with the exclusives. Also, quit saying that bungie please fix crap. At this point, if bungie released the exclusives for xbox, it would break a contract with sony. They would rather piss you off all day than do that, and I don't blame them.
