I posted a topic about matchmaking on raids and got a reply from pacificdune saying " people that post this usually have zero raid completions and are not in a clan. With a group of randoms is almost a guarantee of failure" like as if the world is going to end because we might fail or because were not in a clan we might try playing with the controller upside down. Doing raids with a group of randoms is called a challenge that is how it should be what is the point in playing with no challenge.

Editado por Ostensibly: 8/18/2016 6:37:04 PMRaids can be brutally hard. Dying fifteen times at the orbs at the start of the raid may be fun the first time, but having people who know what they're doing can save hours. A lot of people just do the raid once in one play session. A good team can finish King's Fall in 30-45 minutes.

3 RespuestasI can see that attitude will get your far... I can list several reasons as why Bungie wisely decided not to put matchmaking for raids: 1) It's a group activity that requires effective communication and cooperation between all fireteam members. Matchmaking could potentially pair you up with people that have no mics or that don't even speak your language. Trust us, you won't get far or have fun under such conditions. 2) Raids have loot drops after beating a boss or surviving an encounter. Folks looking for the drops after a certain boss could easily leave and leave the fireteam short a body or two. Hell, that happens in lfg formed teams, it'd be worse in matchmaking. 3) Raids are lengthy missions and the pacing is eased by getting checkpoints between boss battles or simply progressing thru the raid. Besides selecting the difficulty, the mm system would have to allow selection of checkpoints to avoid situations as the described above. So, in short, no to matchmaking, yes to an in-game lfg system if you have no friends to play with.

Matchmaking in the raid just cheapens the whole raid expirience. Not everything you guys ask for is a good idea. This is a bad idea.

If yiuvwere complaining to friends in real life, you might have a foot to stand on, but since you're on the forums, you're just lazy. You have access to the app, the #recruitment section has evolved crazy well compared to what it was with vanilla. Just use the recruitment section.

4 RespuestasActually the game is built around clans, and making and keeping long term friends... I think you misinterpreted my intent. I have cleared hundreds of raids and based on this experience I know that raid matchmaking would cause a lot of frustration for you. The faster you realize this the more enjoyment you will get from this game. If you need a clan and play on ps4 you are welcome to join ours. We have scheduled raids almost daily, and need new people for our Sherpa tryouts. Otherwise there are many other clans seeking new members on this forum. Cheers! Dune

Rng lfg can be fun, you never know who you will meet, and everyone starts somewhere... Wannabe elites just come on here with bs to make their lackluster life seem more important... F em...and the horse they rode in on...
-
I only do it with randoms and have 80 completions ...done 1 with my clan...so
-
I don't see anything wrong with what Dune posted.

Optional, the keyword is optional matchmaking. Should make everyone happy, it won't, but should.
