Don't get the game until it goes down in price. It's more bareboned than Vanilla Destiny.

You think ok would be ok with that lol?

Millions of other people are, so why not? Barebones shooters are greatly loved, especially by older gamers.

Don't get me wrong, I like Overwatch. But $60 for 3 game modes is asking a lot.

Then you can multiply that by every map, and you've got an insane amount of replayability that destiny could never accomplish.

For the first couple of hours, I can agree with you about the countless compositions and play styles. But when you get to the point where I'm at, you stick to the one to two play styles you're good with, and the team compositions are predictable. It also angers me how team composition doesn't even matter at times. You can have 6 people go 1 hero and they'll win.

As for 6 hero teams, every hero is fairly well countered, it's just a matter of how fast you switch to one in order to deal with the issue. For example, against a 6 symmetra team the other day, I switched from Reinhardt to Winston and we immediately stomped them, I got both of his achievements in that game. As for repetitive team compositions as skill level increases, I agree. But, with Blizzard's high attentiveness with the community, they are constantly working on rebalances and new content that has potential to shift up the meta. For example, perhaps Mei's buff will make her much more competitively viable, since she is almost nonexistent at higher ranks and she can be played at a high skill cap.

It all just depends how much enjoyment you get out of those 3 game modes really. I can't speak for the OP of course, but the game is still doing exceptionally well without much more content being added, even on consoles.
