pretty much every Youtuber was talking about how amazing they were and you could hardly go into a match without one (especially in the Suros days)
as far as I am concerned (and most of the community from what I can tell) those were most certainly metas

ok ok im been playins since beta yes beta ok all thru y1 it was hand cannon sniper well y1 was maor shot gun sniper than sniper shotgun yes auto rifles were great for about 1 month than they got destroyed and were never seen again during the autos short lived rain i ob severed sooo many different streamers talk about how op autos were but guess what load out they were using you guessed it hand cannon sniper hunter blade dancer look how looooooooong thorn was broken for how looooong they left that piece of sht in the game
