Ever since Y2 started, hawk moon has felt weak to me and many others, and although it improved in its recent buff, it still has some work to do. Ammo problems: Hawk moon still constantly runs out of ammo in pve, for instance, in the malok strike, using hawk moon is a death sentence, you will find yourself running out of ammo and praying for the ads that spawn to drop some, which should never happen with a primary. Range problem: The range is still kind of meh, and although it's better, almost all legendary hand cannons with one range perk can outclass it, why use hawk moon when finnalas peril and eyasluna offer better range and consistency? Fixes: There are 2 ways to fix hawk moon, either buff its range and ammo again, or just give it rifled barrel instead of quickdraw [spoiler]Moderator edit: This thread has been moved to #Feedback forum so that other Destiny players can weigh in.
