I don't get the excitement. Unless you have 11 friends (that you actually know outside the game) playing destiny.
Destiny's biggest issue right now is the lack of matchmaking because simply not enough people are playing. This is great news for a vocal minority.

You should look into joining a socially active clan. Plenty of people have signed up to one of mine and made "virtual" friends. I'm sure if a lot of them lived closer they would meet up, but this is the easiest and most efficient way to meet others with a passion for this game.
-
Surely the real joy in having private matches is playing people you actually know? I have lots of "virtual" friends I play COE and stuff with, but that's not where the heart of private matches lies. It's about actual friends kicking the shit out of each other.

Oh we do know each other though. I've been playing games and talking to over 50 people in my clan for 8 to 24 months with. We have raid Teams set up so that the same 6 people can hook up every week to play. They form a bond and play other activities in destiny, so the prospect of having these teams of 6 pitted against others in private matchmaking will make it all the more fun. We use an app called groupme to communicate and set up events/competitions and other chats for other games. So we've expanded to other games and allow our members to form bonds with other members in other games. Works really well for the majority, but we do occasionally get someone too big for the clan, or just not social enough to fit in. But most fit just right in, and continue playing Destiny for so long purely because of the social community we have.

Editado por TheSilverFox10: 8/17/2016 10:51:45 AMMinority???? There's always at least 20+ people playing destiny on my friends list when ever I go on. Try the 100 site 100s and 100s if not thousands of players on there playing destiny all the time
-
Yep,i agree, make it less of a chore finding guardians and it MIGHT be ok.
-
i don't think you need 12 people, i'll be fine playing sidearms only rumble (or something similar) with 2-3 friends
-
I don't see the big deal with private matchmaking. Just less people in the queue.
-
You can do anything from a 1v1 to a 6v6, don't need a full team.
-
I have lots of people on every single night, make friends...
-
Lol same here, brother and sister play friends from work play, and i have over 50 ppl on my friends list that get on all the time lol

Spawn trap

3 friends, have a few minutes, play a quick game of clash. Post-raid e-peen measuring contests Have too many people in your fire team for PoE, but too few for a raid, play a friendly match of mayhem instead There are plenty of fun opportunities to use this

1v1 enough said
-
I can't wait to wreck a few friends who claim to have more skill but secretly know they'd get wrecked lmao😂
-
#recruitment find some pvp buds
-
Strangers? Might as well just play regular crucible. This is only fun for actual friends, not virtual ones. Lol
-
How so lol. All 100+ of my friends who play destiny I don't know in real life but we play every week.. And have fun in pvp.
-
This is just a distraction to keep everyone's mind off of the terrible connection issue in PvP. Can't wait for the whole "clan vs clan" and they start crying about all the red bars again.
-
Spot on. The lack of news about optional matchmaking or at least an in-game LFG feature is hugely disappointing.
-
Lack of matchmaking? I never have an issue with getting into a Crucible lobby that has 12 people.
-
You don't need 11 friends . Play rumble or 3s
-
You can 6v6 3v3 1v1

search new friends problem solved
