My thoughts on Skyrim enemies:
Why am I able to approach every enemy with the same tactic?
Dragons, Draugrs, Werewolves, you name it.
All you do is get close and spam R2.
Why do all enemies have the same attack pattern?
Bandits have the same as skilled warriors.
Werewolves attack just like bears.
Where's the variety? Every enemy boils down to the same few attacks and it gets stale fast.

You sound like a guy who plays dark souls. I like dark souls

I sound like a guy who appreciates good game design.
so yes.
Yeah, I should've figured YOU would be here to complain about Skyrim. AGAIN.

Yeah, I should've figured YOU would be here to complain about my distaste for the game. AGAIN.

TES games have never had good combat. :s Everyone knows this.

Exactly the point I'm making.

You can use this to your advantage. Block is one of the easiest skills to turn legendary over and over. There are a couple of places you can put a rubber band on a controller and just walk away. One of them is that Shrine with the beacon. Meridia I think? Anyway those little black floating skeletons will literally sit in front of you and just keep swiping. If you get your character positioned correctly you can put a rubber band on the controller and come back to block 100. Turn it legendary and repeat. Give you as many levels as you realistically need.

That isn't even relevant to my point at all.

Games aren't what you want them to be. They are what they are. learn how to use that to your advantage
-
I'd like to think games SHOULD be what we want them to be, since they are meant for us to enjoy them.

Apparently never played any other elder scrolls game... If you had you would know the combat in skyrim is better than morrowind or oblivion...

Editado por OnlyAlfredo: 8/13/2016 4:11:54 PMI loved Morrowind and liked Oblivion. Never liked the combat. Difference is, it was understandable in Morrowind, seeing as how it wasn't a AAA title and it released, what, 2003? Skyrims combat was not better. It's just smoother and more flashy, that's common with advancements in technology. The only difference is that Morrowind had the chance to hit/miss. There was no real difference between Skyrim and Oblivion. Never been a huge fan of recent Bethesda games because they: 1). Can't do combat 2). Horrible dialogue 3). Poor stories with bad endings I liked Morrowind because despite its issues(many due to it being so old) it had a good story, had good dungeon level design(something completely lost in IV and V), and there was actually a sense of freedom. One of the worst decisions they made with TES, was adding the compass. It ruins all sense of exploration and discovery if you know exactly where to go at all times. You lose all those "aha!" Moments. Also, even if Skyrims combat is better than III and IV, it's still horrible. Don't just assume shit.

Yeah I'm disappointed about them dumbing everything down (same with fo4) but out of all 3 I thought the combat in skyrim was good the way spells and duel wielding worked was cool imo... plus the shouts added a lot of different attack options... Yeah adding map markers really -blam!-ed it up I'll agree on that... And calm down buddy no reason to get offended...
-
Yeah there were options, but its not like other games where you can enjoy the choices because each one would have certain situations where it would shine. In skyrim you can use one combat stratery for most of the game.

I am calm...I don't know where you got that I was offended.

Editado por Satanic Mechanic: 8/13/2016 5:33:42 PMThe whole...
don't assume shit
comment sounded like I had offended or annoyed you...if I took it the wrong way...sorry...

What!? Are you insinuating that Elder Scrolls combat is clunky and obnoxious! Heresy I say!
srs doe, I could never get into it unless I was stealthing through and shooting people with a bow
