No multiplayer.
Repetitive planets.
Abysmal crafting.
The first 2 hours are great, while the next are annoying and repetitive.
I just hoped it could've been somewhat better
(Inb4 fanboys defending their shit game)
EDIT 1: the PC release is also broken.
EDIT 2: just because this is an indie dev doesn't mean they are allowed to do less than they promised.
-
But the real question is: is it more of a disappointment than the division?

18 Respuestas
No multiplayer.
At no point was multiplayer promised. In fact they repeatedly said it wont be a thing, but something they would consider adding.
Repetitive planets.
Called it 😂
-
9 RespuestasTotally called this from the get go, now I'll be waiting for you all in Star Citizen
-
Lmao wait until you find out what the ending is 😂
you create a new star & then wake up on a new planet with a crashed ship ultimately starting a new game
1 RespuestaIt works fine on pc
-
Very glitchy. But is fun while listening to an audio book.
-
Just depended on what you were expecting.

2 RespuestasThe way I see it, if it ever comes out for Xbox, (which knowing Sony, is doubtful) it'll already have some updates pushed through and hopefully more things to do added in. If it does come out for Xbox, I'd buy it if I had a gift card or if I could find it somewhere cheaper. For me with games I don't really know if I'll like them until I try them, and occasionally I'll come across a game I'm very interested in, until I actually play it. (Looking at you, we happy few)
EDIT 2: just because this is an indie dev doesn't mean they are allowed to do less than they promised.
Overkill anyone?

1 RespuestaI dodged 2 bullets this year. The division and no mans sky. I hope I don't get cocky.
-
so you can't like things? people like you ...

6 RespuestasYou're an idiot if you expected multiplayer in this game, this sounds like you wanted to see it fail when it's the exact opposite and as for the repetitive planets, I have yet to encounter this problem.
-
The game is just missing so many small but game changing features for a $60 game. The ability to search & warp to planets that you've visited is a big one
-
The only thing I would get it for is naming planets and animals that look funny but that's not worth 60$ maybe when it's 10$ in 4 years
-
Shhhh. Let people enjoy things.
-
1. Not every game has to have multiplayer 2. Thanks for your opinion. Some dont share the same opinion as you. It wasnt what you were looking for.
-
No mans sky is a niche game. I like it but many people don't. I don't care.
-
Every planet I've been to looks vastly different from one another. I found a red moon with mushrooms on it. Has anyone else found that?

8 RespuestasI feel that it's ok that there is no multiplayer. Sean Murray said that the game was supposed to make you feel alone. Once you explore a bit and don't just look around in your starting Galaxy (I.E. Go through abiut 5-7 star systems) I'd say they vary quite a bit. I will say crafting can get annoying as some points, especially trying to find rare materials, it's overall not that bad in my honest opinion. It could be improved though by allowing you to mark materials you need and highlighting them either in your binoculars or in your surroundings in general. Actually, I believe it's the other way around. I felt the first two hours boring, but once you get into the swing of things it's much more fun. Really, it's hard to judge this game from videos. You have to play to really get a feel for it. And this game is a niche game as many people say it is, but I'd rather see something like this than another FPS COD ripoff

1 RespuestaHonestly they gave me everything they promised me. The only people I see mad are the ones who hung to the hope of multiplayer. Which the creator was never enthusiastic about. Yes there is if you really grasp for it like so many are. But I doubt that the three people on a server will ever meet up. We have seen them try and fail, and on top of that it wasn't even working. Like don't get this game if you want to hold someone's hand the whole way through you exploration. Just get on party chat and talk about your separate findings. Do you really need someone there while you mine for resources?
-
just because this is an indie dev doesn't mean they are allowed to do less than they promised.
They gave exactly what they promised and exactly what a few of us were telling everyone they would get. It's people like you hyping it up to be something it wasn't and that's the reason I was telling people they are going to be bitterly disappointed with it. It's an exploration game with a ton of grinding. That's all it was sold as and that's all we told people it would be. If you expected anything more then that's on you.
-
Lol, you bought a game on the hype train without knowing any thing about it. It is exactly as advertised.
-
4 RespuestasAnyone who knew what they were getting (an exploration space game with some combat an trading elements) are happy. Anyone who hyped it and expected a mix of star wars, star trek, elite dangerous, and Battlestar Galactica is disappointed. Thats the real problem.

2 RespuestasEditado por charbr88: 8/14/2016 3:02:00 AMNo multi-player is one of the reasons why I like the game. No douche bags like you to ruin it. No try hards No sqeakers No elites No listening to morons eating Doritos in the mic. No AFk in a middle of a raid or strike No loud music blaring in your headset from some other player. No cussing from somebody with a limiting vocabulary. No know it all telling you that they know better than you on how to play the game, just to go revive same knuckle head 20 times because he dies. No multi-player is just fine. Edit: and no NERFHERDERS!!!..... Well I did name a worm looking creature one in the game. Priceless.

1 RespuestaHow did people get so convinced that this would be the ultimate video game?
-
1 RespuestaEditado por magburner: 8/13/2016 7:28:53 PMKnock it off, will you? It is individuals like you that are killing the games industry. If we do not support the smaller developers, gaming will coalesce around companies like EA or Activision. These types of developers are profit driven, and only make 'safe' games that sell well, and which appeal to a core of gamers. You only have to listen to the jargon soup, which pours out of the mouth of Deej, each time he talks about each successive Destiny update, to understand where gaming is heading. We have to support innovation, so give Hello Games the benefit of doubt, let us see where this journey takes us.
