Then you must be so unskilled that you need exclusively the best of the best to actually do/carry you through the raid. I've seen people at 295 do the raid just fine. #GetGood

3 RespuestasEditado por Skyrender6: 8/10/2016 1:56:58 PMWhen I form raid groups I purposely leave out a light requirement precisely because I'd rather play with people who don't take the game too seriously. I'd rather have fun with a bunch of novices over the course of a few hours than play with jaded gamers who insist that the raid must be finished in 30 minutes or less. It's really satisfying to help more casual players overcome difficult raids and to hear how happy they are when they finally complete them. Just the other day I joined a fellow guardian who was really upset because he had never beaten the raid in spite of having tried for over four months. We didn't finish the first time but I liked this guy's attitude so much that I promised him that I would not complete the raid on my hunter until I beat it with him. We got it on our next try and he was just ecstatic. This kind of happiness is what this game is about to me. Destiny shouldn't be about perfection, it should be about helping one another out! We were all novices at some point or another so why discriminate if people don't have ToMs or 330+ light? It goes against what Bungie has been trying to do with this game and this community.

Why not make your own fireteam of people only at 295? Should be able to do it just fine ;o) Seriously though, my main requirements are thumbs and ears.
-
An experienced team of 310's will take longer to complete the raid than an experienced team of 335's. Higher light = higher dps. Higher dps= less time spent on the raid. A high light level team can kill warpriest in one damage rotation golgy in one or two. To be honest it's very easy to get to 335 now. I'm amazed that people still are at a low light. Doesn't take that much time since they updated the infusion rate. You must not be infusing your gear properly. Not sure why people get offended if they don't meet the requirement. Stop complaining and Start your own group. It's that simple. In the crucible people do the same. When IB is up most look for high light because high light = more dps.

TITAN LL 335 HAVE TOM SPINDLE WILL WIPE TO GO COLLECT GREEN ENGRAM MSG MICKTHEKNIFE

2 Respuestaswhy do you even raid. it's pointless. I get every now and then casually, but not every week on all 3
-
DestinyTracker completions. Light is irrelevant to experience with the new and improved. Back in my day, you could tell a lot about a guardian by their progression.
-
My raid team only takes 325+ mostly likely a titan and at least done the raid once in the last week
-
Do people st... SHUT UP JIMMY YOU'RE NOT FUNNY!!
-
Of course 330+ isn't needed to do the raid. However, if your not 330+ now you literally must not have played the game since the April update or have actively tried not to level up. I was 330 after one raid after the April update. I had all guardians at 335 within a month. The chances are if you are -310 you haven't done the raid, and if you have it hadn't been for 6+ months.
-
How skilled must you be not to be level 330+ by now?
-
I think it's more of an "acitivity" thing because let's be honest, if you're not 330 by now you're not playing the game much. And why would you want to stuggle with some inexpereinced player this late into the DLC? People just want it over with at this point. You're right about it - in a vacuum - being a ridiculous requirement though.
-
I offer you a cookie from a box of cookies. You don't know what any of them taste like, but some are whole, some have a bite taken out of them, and some are even moldy. Which one would you pick if you don't know what they taste like without trying first? I don't raid with randoms, so I never set requirements like that anyways, but I can understand if people want the best chance they can get.
-
330+ is dead easy now due to faction rewards and CoE plus the infusion system. Anyone below 330 is probably not doing something right. I was 316 before April update and it was a pain to go above it. Post April, it just took me 3-4 weeks to get first 335. Now all my characters are 335 and I haven't even done HM raid! If a scrub like me can do it then anyone can so there should be no complains sir!
-
If you are 330+, there's probably a better chance that you know what you're doing in a raid opposed to someone that's 315. I'm not saying that someone of lower light doesn't know what to do, I'm just saying I'd rather take my chances on a 330+. This raid has been around for a while and people just don't want to spend 3 hours on it anymore when you can do it in an hour. The simple solution here is to create your own fireteam. You'll most likely end up with people of similar light but it would still be a team.

3 RespuestasWhy do people of lower light levels always get so offended/defensive when someone only wants higher levels in their raid...? I don't understand. Then people who are lower lights always complain like "Well it's not hard to go through the raid at my light," no it's not, so go find a team and do it. Sometimes I open my raid team up to anyone, I've even been in a raid for 8 hours before because half of the team was low and it was their first time, but sometimes I want a team full of people at my light and skill level. Yeah I get it, you know what you're doing, this is your second character, you're on your siblings account, etc. etc., I'm not doubting your ability at all, im just setting a requirement for that run. Just because you're 18 years old doesn't mean you're a senior in high school.
-
Most people do it because they dont have all day, so they only take people who are good to quickly get everything done, ya know because we have jobs and life to do aswell
-
7 RespuestasPeople mistake Light level for skill and experience. But the real requirements for raiding are ToM/ Black Spindle; if you don't have either of those then good luck. Raids are overrated anyhow, im almost 334 and I started about a month and a half ago.
-
This is funny. Light level just means you got high pieces of gear. My little brother just got 335 yesterday and hasn't completed hard mode yet. There goes all the experience people believe in when they see a 335. He is trying to beat it this week. Hoping he gets that done for his Y2 triumphs.
-
Pretty much. My only requirements are that you come with a good attitude and have fun. Other than that I don't care
-
You never beat oryx on hard. Git gud
-
Try hards

1 RespuestaWell because it my damn opinion ok? Jesus the generation is fúcked up. Just make your own post.
Yes, I ask for 330+ with ToM and a good sniper because I just want to get the raid over with and not waste 6+ hours
3 RespuestasI only allow people in my raid group that has beaten battletoads on the Nes on hard mode.
-
? It's the fact that they should be 330+ by now.
-
Some people don't want to spend hours completing the raid, so in turn they look for higher light people. Simple concept why do you care so much?
