1) player count is low 2) people were whining about MM times, so Bungie made it so matches would start before full teams were formed 3) higher skilled players whined about sweaty matches so the spread of skill levels in a match was increased (compared with the beginning of this year). This means there are more lower skilled people quitting matches because they are fed up with getting stomped on

Reason why is because the player count is low most likely to why you're getting into games that your team is getting destroyed.

The last thing you want is for activision to do anything about it. They'll find a way to turn it into some kind of microtransaction.
