I asked for an example but how can you provide an example of someone whose posts I have never even seen on here before. If that's the case then it's not really spamming then.

I doubt you're on these forums 24/7. So you can't really say, because I haven't seen it, it must not exist. That's a fallacy. I have seen this person, zohnntohn, post several "carry" posts, throughout the forums. Followed by his fellow streamers. They are a group that work together to do carries across all platforms. Usually every friday, at the start of ToO the posts arrive. They are entitled "free trials carries". Again, if you haven't seen them oh well, because you're not on here all day everyday to see what's being posted. Going back to the original post. Steamers do indeed spam their chats, lfg, and other forums to promote carries. Period. That's a fact. Accept it or move on.

I'm not on here 24/7 but I go on here enough to not very much of these types of posts if at all. I don't even know those people. Out of curiosity what's wrong with spamming their own chats? :/ I can see how it would be annoying if it's on LFG or on here, then yeah, but their own chats? Ummm... And like I said, I frequent these forums a lot and I don't see many of these raffles. If I was intentionally trying to find them, then yeah. Most of the forum posts I see on here are of people asking for nerfs or buffs, saying that they'll quit the game, and/or just trolling bait posts.
