I'm intentionally being handicapped when matchmaking because I'm above average, I have to be.
Every team based game I play has been nothing but below-average team mates and half decent enemy teams. Every. Game. I am constantly getting a better score, higher KD, etc. I'm sick and tired of being handicapped with my team because of Bungie's twisted definition of balance and skill based match making. I'm sick and -blam!-ing tired of losing games because I get new players who go AFK or generally have no damn clue what they're doing. Excuse me for not having an average win % or a 1.0 KD. Excuse. -blam!-ing. Me. This matchmaking system does not work in the slightest bit.
I don't care if I sound like I have a huge ego or what the -blam!- ever. I don't like losing because of matchmaking deciding I should carry people because our average win% balances to ~50%.

5 RespuestasDone any of the exotic class item quests? Start the Crucible part and play solo for 10 matches... they [i]have[/i] to mess with matchmaking when you have the quest active. Sweaty like a fat girl chasing the ice cream truck.

Yeah, it happens. It seems that SBMM takes into account the team's collective skill. Pairing good players with poor ones in order to balance teams. The main problem I see with this is it punishes good conservative players since its easy for the enemy to avoid them and focus on the weak links. Good aggressive players seem to have an easier time balancing the scales because the enemy can't avoid the team's best player

Never felt it in any other fps, and Ive been playing them forever. Bungie has a TON of work to do in order to get this game operating like a modern AAA fps. If they're going to be sneaking in these ridiculous mechanics that have many players wondering if individual players are being nerfed for their performance, they need to be forthcoming and explain it. Bungie has cultivated a cynical, suspicious fanbase over the last 2 years and they need to realize how bad that is before its too late.

Pretty messed up I'm in the same boat. If you're above average Bungie wants you either to carry or lose, it's such bs especially when the other team has god roll players and full fireteams. #StopTheForcedCarries2016

You want too much from MM when it is your choice to play in a fireteam. I play almost but not not quite exclusively in MM and let the chips fall where they may. My performance is the whole spectrum. I accept that for two reasons. My overall aptitude as well as what I'm given. In the end I always judge my own aptitude because it's ultimately my choice how I play.
