So ever since the June update I've had one major issue with trip mine grenades. Not the damage or anything like that. They have issues sticking the way they're intended to. Like I've thrown a trip mine at a perfectly flat wall and it'll point downwards. This is slightly game breaking. Please fix this. If anyone else has had similar issues let me know

20 RespuestasEditado por fibeto: 8/6/2016 6:55:46 AMThe trip mine grenades should still stick to and one shot kill our enemies. Over the past few weeks I've used them religiously and they are incredibly unreliable. I actually floated across the grav lift on a map, threw a grenade right at a warlocks head which flipped all around and actually didn't damage them at all but detonated directly into my face and killed me instead. Tripmines have always been risk reward as I'd stick someone but more than likely kill myself with them from being too close. Trip mine grenades do not track the enemy like other grenades certain sub classes use religiously. They have a bright laser and detonate once. Lightning grenade doesn't stick enemies but it has multiple blasts that reliably kill enemies. Trip mines rarely detonate properly to damage enemies to the point where people can and will jump past them willingly because they know how to avoid damage. Gunslingers are completely shafted when it comes to melee. There's nothing we can use that can one shot kill or give us an over shield to save our ass. A throwing knife to the head isn't a one shot kill but Titans can run around with storm grip and shoulder charge or warlocks can run around with flame shield or soul steal. Our super doesn't kill everyone near upon activation nor does it last as long as storm trance. I could go on and on all day about why trip mines should be reworked again but I don't think bungie is very fond of gunslinger.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like trip mines and spike grenades have this problem more than lightning grenades do. I won't deny that lightning grenades have this problem as well, but I noticed when I was using them, they almost seem to adjust themselves, unlike the other wall sticking grenades.

Mayhem clash - tripmines - yet another "double down". lol.

6 RespuestasYup happens way too often. Honestly it's a side effect of them messing with the grenades in the first place

3 RespuestasIt's an issue with lightning grenades as well or them just vanishing if they hit someone or something and doing no damage.
-
seems all the sticky grenades have this nasty habit of sticking on flat surfaces in odd directions.

My lightning grenades have been having trouble sticking too lately. Noticed it a lot last night in the nightfall

3 RespuestasI was super bugged at first about the nerfs but I found them to still be quite effective. You need to use the young ahamkara spines for them. It's still effective in 6's. Lots of fun. Sad about the nerf, but it's still the best option

Bump. I have seen the same issue with the void Spike Grenades. You'll throw it against a flat wall, and it will dump all its killing power into the ceiling, or the floor, or off to the side, or any random direction other than the 90 degree perpendicular angle that its meant to land at.

3 RespuestasBungie really seems intent on making the Hunter the least played class No abilities that create over shield No shield when triggering super Supers that require aim and timing as opposed to jazz hands and fist of panic As a hunter I CONSTANTLY get killed during the shadowshot bladedancer AND golden gun animation. The warlock and Titan are essentially invincible during the animation

1 RespuestaNo its the fact that a teamate in front of u or a few will deflect the mine back at you and boom, wtf.
-
2 RespuestasThe fact that they nerfed the ammo reserves, tripmine and throwing knife after almost 2 YEARS of no complaints or issues, is -blam!-ing idiotic. How about nerfing the easy mode fusion grenades? Tripmine sticks were rare compared to the tracking fusion grenade. The super buff patch could have been the best patch ever, but they had to ruin Sunsinger and Gunslinger, because no fun is allowed in Destiny.

2 RespuestasNah enough 1 hit guaranteed kills b4 death and for the damage it does and radius, hell no

1 RespuestaI'm also sick of the things sticking at odd and useless angles that make no sense. If it sticks to a flat surface it should point out, not up or down. They can still be effective in some situations, but yeah... I've had the bounce off someone and back at me happen, too. And for some reason THAT is a 1HK.

Same problem

I remember leveling up my gunslinger hunter and thinking yay I got the op trip mines, I can finally compete with that lightning or fire bolt Grenade. But not anymore. I'm like so I have the first grenade and that's it, the little trap/ tracker nade is trash because it barely hurt them and the trip mine is lame cuz u can't stick people and they don't die instantly.
-
Yes I had it happen a few times is a pain.
-
5 RespuestasThe issue I have is that it's not a 1HKO anymore, and that it doesn't stick anymore
-
7 RespuestasTripmines are weak, when I heard about the changes I was welcome to them not sticking, but to reduce their damage was too far. And I completely understand your problem with direction, problem is destiny loves putting junk everywhere for them to get stuck on

3 RespuestasYes it has a tendency to bounce off the wall onto the floor
