CINCINNATI, Ohio — Nazia Ali had removed her sneakers, finished sending a text message to her parents and was putting on headphones and settling into her seat for the nine-hour flight from Paris to Cincinnati when a Delta Air Lines crew member approached her and her husband, Faisal.
They were excited to come home July 26 to see their three young sons following a 10th-anniversary trip to London and Paris, "the city of romance and love," he said.
What happened next would overshadow the good times they'd enjoyed: A flight crew member had complained to the pilot that she was uncomfortable with the Muslim couple in the second row of economy class. The woman was wearing a head scarf and using a phone, and the man was sweating, she allegedly told the pilot.
The pilot contacted the ground crew. He would not take off until couple was removed.
"We had been in our seats for 45 minutes," Nazia Ali, 34, said Thursday from the Cincinnati area office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). "The ground agent said, `Can you step out with me? We'd like to ask you a few questions.' So I said, `Do you want us to get our things?' And he said, `Yes, please grab all of your personal belongings. You're not going to be on this flight.' "
I'm ok with the story if they were put on a different flight. I see nothing wrong with it
-
I feel as though we're missing an important part of the story. Like a comment that was left out. Or that the airline staff lost someone to Islamic terrorism.

15 RespuestasThe flight crew acted like -godwinslaw!-, people forget how Hitler demonised the Jews before ww2. Is that what we are becoming? Or are we going to say never again?
-
1 RespuestaHahaha her name is Nazia, how much better can this get?
-
That's -blam!-ed up
-
If pilots don't trust TSA why should we
-
8 RespuestasDamn... That's pretty messed up. If that pilot can't feel comfortable with minorities, he has no business working with the public.
-
Yes, people sweat and use cell phones, I did both on my flight the other day, and am I a terrorist? No! Idiots
-
I have nothing good or bad to say about this situation. I never have and never will fly so it affects me little.
-
Woopdeeflippindoo

That's why using the actions of few to paint anyone similar in a bad light is not a wide move by a leader. It only creates problems.
-
6 RespuestasWouldn't they have to go through security first anyway?
-
1 RespuestaGood. What kind of sick person would take their -blam!-ing shoes off?
-
4 RespuestasThey'd be fine if they were just thoroughly strip searched. The guy sweating is understandable cuz well he's on a plane and he's Muslim. He's gonna sweat lol but it would've made it better if he was smiling and excited
-
41 RespuestasAnd how we would feel if these two were terrorists who blew the plane up and killed everyone inside? The world is dealing with an Islamic terrorism crisis. Europe is a hot spot of terrorist activity. These people were speaking Arabic and sweating which is a sign of nervousness Is this really a big deal? Maybe if children stopped cutting pregnant women open in Germany, we wouldn't have this issue. Maybe if this was a different world, this wouldn't have happened but it's about damn time we had an honest conversation about terrorism so this shit doesn't have to happen.

Although I don't agree with Islam, I just think this is over the top. At this point we are sacrificing our humanity for the sake of possible protection from a couple who may be terrorists. Odds are they weren't I mean I've never seen a female involved with terrorist attacks, and you can't ban someone for doing a natural human thing like sweating, if so I'm terrified because I sweat all the time. You could save all humans from car crashes just by removing cars in general but the question is should you.

I AM TIRED OF THESE MOTHERF*KING MUSLIMS ON THIS MOTHERF*KING PLANE!!!
THIS IS A JOKE BUNGIE. TAKE IT.
Editado por The Wizard : 8/6/2016 2:28:05 PMThe people who were uncomfortable who were sitting next to a Muslim couple I understand because of all the terrorism in the world today and were afraid of a Terrorist attack, but still , just because they are muslim they shouldn't get kicked off a plane for beliving in a region. (Atleast there are air marshals on most flights that i know of.)
-
That's disgusting.
-
1 RespuestaLawsuit inbound.
-
Oh hey, an example of an overreaction because they were Muslim. Can't wait for SJWs to say this is indicative of "islamophobia."
-
-
Every plane should have an Air Marshall, that way if you suspect someone is a terrorist they can just. e on surveillance instead of kicking them out and wasting everyone's time.
-
Editado por Cole Protocol: 8/6/2016 8:12:13 AMI'd be offended if I was the TSA agent that cleared them before finding out they were kicked out because people didn't feel safe

More world drama...
