Do ppl not like the decreased range to the high impact archetype? Can't snipe with your party crutchers +1. Lol I just wanted there to at least be one comment on this haha

  • I understand these are your opinions and I completely respect them, but doesn't escape the fact that this current meta is a sniping meta last year it was based around shotguns, the problem with shotguns is sheer consistency you NEED a shotgun with God roll perks to kills with it.

  • I can tell you I hate the sniping meta, the reason I did a post on shotguns is because I have more experience with them. I do want them to be buffed, if you see 90% of my suggestions are buffs. With snipers I'm not sure what to do with snipers without killing them in pve. Currently I'm also trying to give ppl a reason to use all 3 archetypes, get away from the issues we have with autos and pulse rifles

    The thing is that apparently bungie can do separate buffs and nerfs but i guess they choose not to. So its safe to assume that you will have matches where you get spawn trapped by snipers. They could give snipers the same "movement" nerf as sgs and actually my hot swap a viable perk. As far as your sg ideas...the range finder does not change much of anything so removing that from high impact sgs is fine. But currently with how sgs are and with high impact sgs having the least amount of damage fall off compared to others it would be best to let all sgs have shot package. What they could do with low-mid imp. sgs is, get rid of decrease the "movement" speed nerf according to the archetype. High imp: base amount of the nerf Mid imp: 1/2-3/4 of the nerf Low imp: 1/4-1/2 (If this made almost no sense then let me know cuz i was about to go into full blown "nerf snipers" mode)

  • They can but they won't for some stupid reason, take blizzard for example for 10 yes they would not separate PvP and pve and all it did was create problems, there is a reason in the new WoW expansion they are separating the two, bungie should take note, if blizzards doing there's probably a good reason they abandoned the abilities feel the same philosophy that bungie and blizzard had.

  • What Bungie needs to do is pull their head from out of their ass and stop with all the damn nerfs already. They need to focus on buffs if they want snipers to be this powerful. Seriously if they want snipers body shot damage to be that effective then give is weapons that can counteract snipers more efficiently. This game is becoming more and more like call of duty everyday and we all have Activision to thank for that!!

  • The only shotguns that people want to use with high impact and range are conspiracy theory-d because of all that damn impact. And universal but it's the only shotgun in the game that has yr 1 range and impact. It's stupid and we all know universal will be nerfed in the next weapons update for rise of iron. Snipers just need to get nerfed to oblivion because they promote camping and ppl rely on all that aim assist to get a kill.

  • Also I love how you mentioned the movement penalty when using a shotgun but forget to mention shotgun range stops at blink strike range. LOL

  • How is movement and range related? Yeah there is a movement penalty that has no need to be there. And you guys are running in crying defence about one little negative suggestion and ignore the rest, are you guys that sore about shot guns, I mean if you have a better idea then -blam!-ing say it, I literally have it in the post to add useful suggestions if you don't like what I proposed, but all you see to wanna do is give butthurt responses

  • You are clearly camping in crucible which is a SERIOUS PROBLEM I noticed what you said and it seems to me that you hard scope a lot when you said "panic" I love how you say that can't snipe with your party crasher when more than 36% of players who go into the crucible snipe and less than 20% run shotguns.

  • I use an eyasluna and a party crasher. I'm always rushing in against my enemies and I still manage to win more than half of my fights. But for some reason I have to put more than two shots into someone when I'm dead in rights to God damn say that should have killed u. But I constantly am finding myself either getting body shotted (which needs a serious damage reduction) and then the person just switches to a primary and one shots me. But no snipers at all. I have more than enough videos to prove this and frenzzy has a YouTube channel for Christ sake to prove it as well. Not to mention hand canons can't compete against high rate of fire pulse rifles. But by all means keep saying that shotguns don't need that range and impact buff.

  • I know what you mean, even tho I suggested to reduce range(only on high impact) also suggested a damage buff because they need to reliably 1 shot at there range, in general I gave them a damage buff to aim, but the high impact I also put another damage biff on top of that for general play. Also completely agree on the body shot issue

  • Wtf?? Shotguns need a buff in range and impact. Range finder is basically the only thing shotguns have left. Snipers are the one who need a damn nerf. Hidden hand needs to be removed from this game. Ammo will never affect this game. Seriously have u played crucible at all lately. Nothing but hard scoopers. All u ppl bitched about shot package in yr 1 and look how that turned out. Snipers nowadays just promote camping. The only shotgun ppl want to use nowadays are god damn universal that's gonna get nerfed. Jesus the future for shotguns is hopeless. Game just keeps getting worse and worse

  • OK for one the title says shotgun adjustments not sniper adjustments, and giving shotguns more range won't stop people from hard scoping down a long hallway. Shotguns arnt primaries. And have you ever played this game ammo does make a difference, its asinine that a high impact shot gun has the same ammo compacity as the lowest. It currently gives no benefit to use low and mid impacts archetypes. Currently if I shoot a knight I might as well use the highest damage type because their currently is no benefit to using lower impact types. Oh And me complain about shot package, I was mad when they removed it, I loved that ability but just like ammo it was nerfed. Well in This case removed because of you crucibabies. All I'm trying to do here is give ideas on how to balance and buff the shotguns as a whole with player feedback. If all you can see out of all these changes that I put out is less range on high impact shotguns then that's just sad on your part. In PvP they 1 shot as is and in pve you don't need that much range on high impacts because of damage(unless you suck of course.)

  • Also as for ammo, doesn't mean crap when they already tried to take it out and it literally did nothing. People still pulled cheap ass tactics to win. Also I'm a cry baby! About what? I literally have to change all my guns around how many times for how many metas? I had to give up last word, shot package, reflection sum. Not to mention my class the hunter just keeps getting nerfed more and more while Titans who were always op just get buffed more than steroid users.

  • Really, that's what your trying to say? Because that's gonna help. Shotguns were perfectly fine in yr 1. All shot package needed to was a decrease to 25-35%. Nowadays even if I'm dead in someone's face a shotgun they aren't even a one shot. Ik the video isn't about sniper adjustments but your focusing on the wrong problem. Shotguns need a buff to range and impact because that's how they were always meant to be. Yr 1 had that perfect. But now because of yr 2 sniper meta, all players want to do is just camp. U try to rush with a shotgun, they either body shot u and quickly switch to a primary, blink away, just panic with their super. Or just spam u with grenades. If they had the range buff we would actually stand a chance again. But since Bungie doesn't give a damn about its community, it's never gonna happen. Also for primaries, get real. No one uses primaries anymore. All anybody want to do is sit there and hard scope. All this aim assist doesn't help either. Hidden hand needs to be removed from this game. It shouldn't have ever been added into the game. If it remains I say the shot gunners should get shot package back. The only primaries I see are last word, universal, doctrine, and now thanks to the omnigul nightfall, grasp of Malok. Don't sit there and tell me that shotguns don't need these buffs when people want to play in the most cheapest way. Does anybody wonder why over 2 million players left when yr 2 started? It was because they all hated this trash of a meta.
