I'm pretty hyped and I can't wait to use it but it probably won't replace MIDA for me.

Wasn't much of a challenge for me to get a lot of kills using the MIDA, nothing more rewarding than hand cannon kills. Just saying

I love handcannons and you're absolutely right when you say they're rewarding, but MIDA has a special place in my heart. I took it on my first raid, nightfall, CoE, etc. It's been with me through pretty much the whole game so I just can't let it go. That's why I use it, not because it's easy or because it's the meta. Btw, what's your favorite handcannon? Mine is Hawkmoon because of nostalgia/aesthetics. Plus I chased it the entirety of year 1 with no luck. So finally getting one was so sweet.
