Calling it now, Khvostov will become OverUsed!
I am super pumped for the exotic version of the Khvostov. This is something a large part of the community has asked for and Bungie delivered.
As I see it right now, Khvostov doesn't look like it will be overpowered. But with its large variety of perks, it will be able to thrive in every situation.
It will be able to work on almost every map, compete against every other weapon type and overall have so much variety.
I just sincerely hope that it doesn't get nerfed because "everyone is using Khvostov! Nerf it!"
What are your opinions on this great addition to destiny? How pumped are you?

It'll be trash, the types it can switch to are the strashy archetypes of each gun type.

Pretty cool in theory..... Might not be as good in application. So let's not jump the gun stirring up false hype calling for prenerfs before firing a shot off.

3 RespuestasCalling it now - the kvostov will be year 3's Boolean Gemini. Good, but unspectacular and with no real reason to run it over another exotic other than nostalgia and novelty. I'm hyped for RoI, but they have to make every perk on this "auto rifle" mediocre so that no one build is too good.

I think 900 rpm might be bad just because the stability perks on it. Seems to be only one but maybe the others might be braced frame it seems to have perfect balance but just maybe it has braced frame. But I wish we saw the rest of the perks. If it does, I'm sorry, didn't finish video

I doubt it. I would rather use a gun that does a very specific thing at a specific range really really great as opposed to a weapon that does ok in every situation.

The Khostov looks like a "Jack of All Trades Master of None" type of weapon. Which would be okay as there will no doubt be a configuration for PvP and another for PvE. Very few guns are effective in both. Usually, the scales are weighted one way or the other.

Who cares? Its practically 3 weapons in 1. Thats the beauty of it. Its going to be the same body, but everyone is kind of going to be using a different gun. If you catch my drift.

2 RespuestasThe thing is, it's special only be it can be every weapon, but doesn't really have an exotic perk per se. So it's like having 5 legendary weapons as one exotic, but it's equal to every other legendary or even worse because you can't get a "God roll" on it

It's not going to be overpowered and I highly doubt it will be overused either. It sounds really amazing and the customization is great but there will be better weapons. So far scout rifles still haven't been touched and if Bungie doesn't nerf the archetype any time soon, that will probably be the best function to use it in. Otherwise, I don't see how it will be overpowered (as other people have been saying). It only has mediocre stats. There's nothing that even makes it OP. Just stat changing perks. But nothing that increases damage.

I'm excited to use it, but the stats don't look all that great. I understand the variety of perks is actually really cool, just hoping the perks counteract the low stats
