7 Respuestas
long active players

Which I did 5 days ago why I'm pissed
Bought 2 year old game on a 10 year old console 5 days ago. Thinks he's a long time active player with a right to complain about not getting the latest DLC.

2 RespuestasThat 5 year old laptop isn't worth a crap either... slow, no RAM, no storage space and limited disk space. You upgrade your computer and cell phone when outdated... consoles have to be upgraded as well. This is how technology works. Remember when 3G was blazing fast... LTE smokes 3G. Soon it will be 5G and everyone with phones that are only capable of 4G will be lined up to get a new one.

your Xbox 360 has been out for 11 years. current gen has been out for 3. its time to move on. i bet your phone isn't 11 years old. and new phones cost almost double that of a console. haven't we been over this enough by now?

They cannot fit anymore data on the old gen. IPhones have more processing power now. Get over it
-
2 RespuestasBoo hoo, its been 2 years, 3 starting September, I'm surprised ttk even released for last gen, in fact. Its really not hard to upgrade, those who complain obviously never worked or something.

This news has been around for more than 5 days. You easily could have researched what you invested in. It's not like you won't be able to continue playing, you'll just be missing some features.
-
Upgrade then, this is a tough envirment where the strong prey on the weak. Get with the program and evolve already.
-
Ugh dude... the old gen consoles can't support rise of iron that's why they are cut

20 RespuestasEditado por NobodyJustBrad: 8/1/2016 1:04:29 PMA) old news is old B) legacy consoles literally can't handle another expansion without removing a significant amount of content. C) more than 90% of the player base is on current gen and desperate for more and better content, for Bungie to make use of current gen's power. D) it's not financially feasible to maintain a generation of consoles used my a miniscule amount of the player base. They're a business, not a charity.

5 RespuestasIf I'm being honest my only problem with them cutting last gen is because they said they wanted "Not to hold anything back" when ROI looks shitty and like it has a sever lack of content or mechanics in general that require next gen only, although who knows that could change soon.

A little late to the party aren't we.

Face it, the hardware is incapable of keeping up anymore. They've had a good run but their day is over.

5 RespuestasNo way, you mean they're dropping support for the ten year old hardware?!

Always two sides to the story. I would say that they are doing everything they can can to make their game the best it can be. They don't care about console sales. Their job is to make Destiny a hit, with more developers making great games exclusively for next gen they will eventually lose sales if Destiny cant compete with solely next gen titles. They can't forsake their future holding onto the past.

Oh bullshit, no way!

You people act like computing requirements don't change constantly in video games. Of course those (near) decade old consoles can't handle more stuff. Ps3 could barely handle it up to the release of TTK, and that just made it worse. Do they want even longer loads? Do they want more issues with door spawns and magical appearances by the mobs that should've come through those broken doors? I'm sorry, but no. I upgraded because I was sick of all that shit, and everyone else on last gen should be over it as well. Step into the future, dudebros.
