The main argument of people against burns on primary weapons is that they take away the variety of guns people use and people would be forced to use a certain primary because of the burn type it has.
Well, I have a simple fix.
Let us be able to infuse a burn types into the primary of our choice. If you like using a particular scout rifle and want a solar burn on it for a strike or raid, then just infuse into the gun.
When you need an arc burn on that same scout for the Nightfall, then just infuse an arc burn into the gun.
I don't have any suggestions on what it should cost as far as materials go to infuse a burn type but I think this is a simple and easy way to make everyone happy.

2 RespuestasHow about exotic faction ghosts that add elements to our primaries
-
4 Respuestashow about, when you dismantle a weapon with a burn you have a legendary/exotic chance for a drop that you can permanently attach to a weapon, but you cannot change it once bound to a weapon.
-
4 RespuestasHonestly, I struggle to see why Bungie removed burns, and why the community is so bothered. All that was needed was a significant nerf to burns, because let's face it, solar burn Skolas/Nightfall/Anything wasn't really a proper challenge. To be honest, primary burns will PROBABLY be a highly talked about feature on one of the live streams to deviate from the real issues like the fact ROI has only one strike for xbox.

7 RespuestasWhy does everyone act like they have this grand idea of elemental infusion? Screw that crap and give us back end tier reward elemental primaries.
-
3 RespuestasIt's a consumable that loads one full inventory of ammo as elemental damage, the more ammo you can hold for that weapon the more you get. Small chance of enquiring them in patrol on ability kills, possible end game rewards for strikes and heroics, one with your nightfall reward (as well as a xp bonus :'( ) and one every raid on a random selected box. Oh and hey might as well make them sterling treasure as well cause that can make them money.

1 RespuestaThe fact that they were removed to give more "variety" is bull, too. I always see people running the same guns, in both PvE and PvP.
-
Small Arms in Strike Playlist is imo better than (Arc) Burn (and using the Zhalo all the week). Small Arms and Arc is pure Fun in Strike Playlist Hmmm.... Thinking that small Arms Damage should be the Standard Damage for Primary Weapons.
-
1 RespuestaXur should sell them for 3 strange coins plain and simple why create another miserable grind
-
1 RespuestaI like it. But they should be a very rare thing to get and only once per gun. Or it comes with a random burn. Giving us complete control always leads to people running very similar load outs. Adding in rng creates rarer drops which are ultimately more rewarding (and frustrating when when we don't get them)

8 RespuestasThis idea is great and all but you are missing the issue here. The "variety" of weapon choice or lack there of is not based off of PVE, they don't give a flying -blam!- what we use to kill A.I. enemies. It is based off of weapon variety in crucible, because that's what everyone bitches in moans about. So while I'm all for bringing primaries with burn back, it will do nothing to change the state of the game because burns don't do anything in PVP, and it really isn't even necessary in PVE anymore.

3 RespuestasWhy not have it like the warlock legendary fusion rifle? whatever sub-class you are using is the burn it becomes.
-
This idea has been presented numerous times since TTK has been released. Although its a good fix, it already has been decided that Legendary Primaries are left behind.

1 RespuestaEditado por kryptexz: 8/1/2016 5:47:44 PMwhy does everyone even want a burn on a weapon , it's not like you NEED a primary gun with a burn to complete the nightfall or so , the only thing it does is make the game even easier than it already is. just let it go. it's probably never coming back
-
15 RespuestasA simple fix would be to have random burns on every primary weapon.
-
1 RespuestaI've been begging for this idea since TTK launched. I doubt they'll listen because Bungie is too stubborn to ever admit that they were wrong. But good idea nonetheless!

3 RespuestasI like the idea. Thinking out loud for a minute, I could be off base, but here are some ideas... Using an artifact would be too cheap in my opinion...once you have it you always have a burn on whatever primary you have equipped. Needs to be a consumable attached to a particular gun. 50 strange coins would be a bit too much, but not out of the ball park. I would prefer a consumable you have to do particular content to get. Why not use etheric light and make it work like Chroma? You can attach it to a weapon and dismantle it at anytime. Once dismantled you lose the etheric light and will need a new one if you want a burn. You can also use a weapon core...or you need both. You could also use radiant and ascendant shards...25 shards to build a core to use on a weapon. This would bring back the raids. I just think it should be somewhat difficult or expensive to get, just like elemental primaries in year 1. I for one would put the time in to get an elemental primary.

2 RespuestasEditado por truffer11: 8/1/2016 9:23:53 AMHow about you just have it as a perk. Instead of the final perk being a perfect balance or a crowd control, make it a chance to be an elemental. The elemental perk could only come on legendary or rarer and is more likely to come on raid and trials guns. If they then buff the year 1 raid loot, each raid could have a better chance of dropping a certain element. (Crota arc, VoG void, oryx solar, ect., ect. Also gives a reason to do more than just Prison of Elders and kings fall) You have the potential to get a gun with the element you want, one you don't want, or one with no element at all. This way, elementals are still sort of rare and isn't something you buy off of Xur but aren't impossible to get.
-
3 RespuestasUse artifacts for burns. Each artifact equips primary with a burn....still keeps so called weapon variety and gives us our burns back
-
6 RespuestasThis could easily be done with something that Xur would sell like the plasma drives. Make it cost something like 50 strange coins and when you remove a burn from a gun you have to repurchase another burn from Xur

Editado por ReticentHope417: 8/1/2016 4:06:38 AMAnd maybe have it so that the special exotic sword planet materials always have the chance to come out of the standard planet material, and have 15 or 20 of them needed to infuse into a weapon to give or change its elemental damage. Perhaps also in addition of needing the materials you need 500 glimmer, 10 marks, 5 motes of light, and 15 weapon parts to infuse it.

Bump. I don't think they're listening though...

4 RespuestasHave a low chance at getting a burn on a primary from vanguard and crucible packages. Done.
