What pisses me off is THERE WAS NO WARNING that i wouldn't be able to finish the game on last gen.
That's simply not true. They gave full warning that people would have to upgrade 3 months in advance. That's ample warning.
Secondly, the only reason it's happening in RoI and not Destiny 2 is because Destiny 2's schedule got pushed back. Had it not, you'd be getting the exact same 3 months notice and it would still happen this September no matter what.
It has been well known for years now that Destiny would be limited on current gen consoles within only a matter of years. Now here we are, about to begin the 3rd year of this game and that's exactly what is happening, as expected. There was never any reasonable expectation or implication that the whole story would go a full 10+ years on legacy consoles, which by now are already 10 years old and about to be 2 generations behind technologically.

If he had read the Terms of Service; he would've known.

That's also true. Practically every company has a ToS that says things are subject to change with or without notice.
-
Hahahahahhahahahahhahahahahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahqhhqhqahhahahahah I would love to see you come up with 300-400 dollars in 3 months starting from scratch

Editado por GrundleBeans: 7/30/2016 6:04:41 PMI make that from my job in 1 day... I also told people the day they announced RoI that it would take only $20 per week saved up to buy a console + RoI. If you haven't been saving by now, it's your own fault if you can't save enough before the release date. However, there's also nothing demanding you to have a console by the release date either. A day later, a week later, a month later makes little difference. It's not a competition to get a console by Sept 20.
-
I'm probably not going to have enough by release. Probably closer to Christmas, because that when I make the most money. What job do you have?
-
I'm a designer in San Francisco.

-
If you would've started saving a couple dollars a week when current gen dropped you'd have enough to upgrade by now.
-
Editado por SpecterWolf959: 7/30/2016 3:59:05 PMOh I probably won't have enough money to upgrade until maybe Christmas, but I don't really care, just saying I would like to see someone get $350 extra in three months. Also, who would have the patience to do that :)? Is that what you did? If so, I have the utmost respect for you.
-
I did. Made 413$ for my ps4 from June 1st to now. Just had to trade in a lot of games

Cool. Congratulations man!👍

I don't know how old u are but I'm 15 and I can make enough to buy an Xbox and roi.
Oh I probably won't have enough money to upgrade until maybe Christmas, but I don't really care, just saying I would like to see someone get $350 extra in three months
Well depending on what someone's monthly debt owed/expenses compared to what they're paid it's entirely possible. Everybody's situation is different though. Child vs young adult vs adult. Some people have to rob Peter to pay Paul every month and others save a large portion every month. For example I don't buy things if I don't have the money to pay for it. Not saying I don't finance things but if I can't afford to cash if I want to I don't buy it(exceptions to this would be a home or car). I gross between $5.5k- 7k a month depending on how much overtime I feel like working but my total monthly expenses are about $3k-3.5k depending how many meals I go out for or impulse buys. The best advice I could provide if you don't already do this so is to put everything on paper. Make a budget and stick to it. When I was really young if I wanted to save money I stuffed my extra funds under my mattress. If it wasn't in my checking account I couldn't spend it on impulse.
-
I see what you mean with it being entirely possible, but when people post the things that say you could have saved x amount of dollars each week, that requires 1) to be payed each week and 2) a good amount of patience and determination to go through with. People are more likely to just splurge instead of saving up (at least that's how I see it. I might be totally wrong)
-
Well if somebody doesn't have a job or won't do something to get income, it's kind of a moot argument. At that point they're demanding a handout if they're saying they shouldn't have to upgrade to progress in the game with everybody else who has paid for it.
-
I'm not asking for a handout. Just to clarify that.

the ps4 where I live is 270 euro...
-
Editado por SpecterWolf959: 7/30/2016 3:20:57 PMWhere do you live? Tell me so I can move immediately :)
but seriously though, I'm pretty sure the PS4 and Xbox 1 were still going for an average 350-400 dollars on Amazon when it was annoyed that last gen consoles would be dropped. I haven't checked in a while to see if prices have gone down
Greece but it is so dirt cheap right now because of the summer sales
-
Where is it on sale? A game store like GameStop or something else?
