I stand against censorship.
I believe it is the tool of cowardice and hypocrites

Editado por micktheknife: 7/28/2016 2:19:36 AMUsing an internet forum to troll folks who are gathered here to discuss the aspects of the game that they like/enjoy is cowardice. This would essentially be a police force, keeping the riff-raff out. And would be far more efficient at it than Ninja's and Mods. Edit: meant to say like/dislike, not like/enjoy.

Not everyone who chose to quit are Trolls, though. That's the biggest flaw with this reasoning.
-
That's true. But again, this is only for the destiny forum is it not? If you haven't purchased the latest expansion, what input could you give? (Serious question)
-
I will use myself for the example. 1: I could watch Delrith play through Destiny 2 (Which he has already said he is planning to do) from start to finish. This immediately allows me the ability to give feedback on whether or not the enemies or missions are decent. (Is the A.I. good or stupid? Are the missions boring or engaging? Am I excited by what I've seen or disappointed?) 2: I could see that D2 still has micro-transactions as apart of the experience and research online about what is being sold in the Cash Shop and for how much. At which point, I could give feedback about the prices or the items being sold. 3: I could google the changes and additions made to the Grimoire/Story and give feedback on whether or not its good. 4: I could give feedback on the voice acting or cinematics in the game, along with the music and artwork. 5: I could give ideas on new things to add; Weapons, Armor, Perks, Powers, Classes, Enemies, Bosses, Level Designs, etc. 6: I could respond to the updates being made by Bungie and whether or not I agree with them, like whether or not they absolutely insist on refusing to allow Year 1 to progress, or Luke Smith's infinite wisdom in doing away with Elemental Primaries. Or still lacking Optional Matchmaking if that still continues. Or the lack of communication between Bungie and the Community. (Which is to be expected to happen if all of the above comes to pass...) 7: I could give feedback about the ongoing overpricing nonsense for other countries. The list literally goes on and on. That's what I've been trying to explain to folks, you don't NEED to personally play a game to be fully informed about it and give feedback. Playing something only lends itself to the handling, so if you see me making a post about how such and such needs to be nerfed, you're totally within your rights and even honestly expected to tell me to sod off for doing so. But as far as literally every other topic is concerned? No, playing the game would not be a requirement.

No censorship? So we should expose the younger generations to even more curse words and sexual images? Seems legit.
-
Kid, shut up.

Editado por CarnivalLaw: 7/28/2016 2:09:21 AMIt's not censorship. Nice try, though. Edit: Okay, it's censorship. This isn't a government. I'm not writing a constitution. I'm proposing that only people who pay and play can contribute to the forums of the game they play. If that is indeed censorship, I'm fine with that.
-
As someone who is also annoyed by ex-players, I do have to agree that it is censorship. Censorship is preventing other people from expressing themselves. By removing people who don't play, you are preventing them from expressing themselves. Honestly though this doesn't matter. Tons of companies or developers or whatever prevent random people from posting.
-
Fine. It's censorship. I don't give a shit!
-
Neither do I. Censorship is, in many ways, a good thing.
-
Fair enough.
-
Yes it is. You are trying to silence another group. You said so yourself, and that is censorship
-
Your opinion. We will not find common ground here.
-
Not looking for common ground. Your suggestion would be to enact a form of censorship. My opinion is that censorship is bad. You can argue against my opinion, but you can't change the definition of that word
-
Call it whatever you like. I really don't care.
