Here's what I think is gonna happen: *over at Bungie HQ* I.T. guy: um...can somebody get ahold of upper management please? We got problem. *phone rings* DeeJ: Hello? I.T. guy: Hey boss, we're getting complaints from players not being able to do any activities in Destiny. DeeJ: ...what kind of activities? I.T. guy: Regular ones. Y'know, joining up with friends, doing the Nightfall, Challenge of the Elders, even trying to go to the Tower. Getting BEAVER error codes a lot, and some others too. DeeJ: Well now. Thats a big issue. What do think went wrong? I.T. guy: I think it might be the coding in our most recent patch, sir. I'm betting Simmons probably fell asleep while doing the final touches again... DeeJ: Hmm...tell Simmons to get his ass up here, pronto. In the meantime, send out a tweet saying we're working on the problem and that changing their NAT type will help. I.T. guy: Wait...what? Sir, the problem isn't on the players' end. It's on ours. DeeJ: They don't know that. They'll believe anything we say when it comes to fixing bugs. And even if they do figure that out, what are they gonna do? *6 hours and numerous hate comments later* *phone rings* I.T. guy: Hello? DeeJ: Hey, buddy! Um...listen, have you gotten that "problem" fixed yet? I.T. guy: You mean the error codes? Uh...not yet. Why? *angry voices and banging can be heard from DeeJ's end of the phone* DeeJ: Listen, you gotta fix it. Quick! The players...t-they know where we are. They figured it out. I dont know how they got here but...they're angry... *whispers* They're coming for me! I.T. guy: Sir...? *DeeJ's office door bashes in, revealing an angry gamer wearing a Destiny T-shirt holding a PS4 in his hand and others behind him* Angry gamer: You! DeeJ: Wait...I-I can explain! Angry gamer: We trusted you! And now you put the blame on us for breaking your damn game!? DeeJ: Wait! WAIT!! I'm not the guy you want to hurt! I know who screwed up the patch! Angry gamer: ......Tell me. DeeJ: He's downstairs, in the building. Floor 5. I.T. Department. His name is Simmons. I.T. guy: Sir?! What are you doing?! DeeJ: Sacrificing one to save the money--I mean many. Angry gamer: ...Fine. Let's go. But before we do that... DeeJ: Wait...what are you doing? I gave you what you wanted! No...Stop! STO-- *phone cuts off* I.T. guy: ...... I.T. guy: Hey, Simmons. Simmons: Yeah? I.T. guy: You're...um...wanted upstairs. The boss wants to talk to you. Simmons: Ok...what for? I.T. guy: Something about a..."promotion". Simmons: Really? Sweet! *Simmons walks up to the elevator, the doors open to reveal the angry gamer with his pals holding his PS4 covered in blood* Angry gamer: So, you must be Simmons. Simmons: Yeah...? And you are? *The angry gamer grabs Simmons' shirt and pulls him into the elevator as the doors slowly closes* *screams can be heard from inside the elevator* I.T. guy: ...Well, guess it's time to hire a new coder.
