No it wasn't m8. Watch the video
-
I don't need to watch some tinfoil hat video, I was around for the actual events.
-
Do you know what a war for oil looks like?
-
Yup. It's when a Texas oil family and political dynasty works with a Saudi royal family and oil dynasty to invade a country for no reason.

Editado por BlaqSpiral: 7/26/2016 2:44:16 PMYou know that Saudi Arabia and Iran hate each other, right? If so, you know it was Saudi Arabia that prevented us from taking out Saddam during the Gulf War, right? If you understand both the previous points to be mostly true, you must also understand that Saddam's Iraq acted as the buffer Saudi Arabia wanted, making your statement not only erroneous, but ignorant.
-
That was more than a decade prior. Things change.
-
Editado por BlaqSpiral: 7/26/2016 2:52:46 PMSure, care to provide something to back that claim up? because it's 25-26 years later and Saudi Arabia still hates Iran and regularly addresses their push to influence the region.
-
Oh and I'm the tin foil hat!??
-
Which part of that statement wasn't true?
-
All of it really.
-
The Bush family wasn't a political dynasty with oil money? OK. The Bush family didn't have visible and undeniably ties to the Saudi royal family? So far all true.
-
Gonna need a citation and your tinfoil hat isn't one.
-
If you can't at least acknowledge those statements then you're clueless on this whole situation.
-
Not really. I mean I can play around with your premise that it was a war for oil but I won't indulge delusions.
-
For example, U.S. Secretary of Defense – and former 12-year Republican Senator – Chuck Hagel said of the Iraq war in 2007: People say we’re not fighting for oil. Of course we are. They talk about America’s national interest. What the hell do you think they’re talking about? We’re not there for figs.
-
Yes but thats the kawaitians oil. That oil wasn't for us that was not a war for oil. Would you like to know what a war for oil looks like?
-
Yes. What does it look like?
