Way op? To my knowledge people complained more than realizing that arc blade could easily be stomped by foh, nova bomb, GG or shotgun melee

Did you play during house of wolves....

Been on since day one

Then you really don't know. In HoW, blade had 6x damage reduction. The next most was pre nerf sunbreaker at 5.5. Hunters aren't meant for heavy armor, therefore your point is invalid.

This is flat out wrong, lol

Lol what, I've played since day one, heck even the beta and been playing consistently since. So how is my argument invalid? As i said, arc blades were easy to shut down via shotgun melee and supers. The only time an arc blade went on a kill spree was when people were caught off guard.

Hmm... Then how was it in HoW that bladedancer was the only thing hunters used in trials....
-
*ahem* quickdraw

I mostly saw Gunslingers and myself would run Gunslinger when I didn't feel like actually having to try for my flawless.
-
i saw most people using golden gun during trials tbh. As the other guy said. Considering the range and impact of older shotguns, shutting down arcblades was never a real problem for me and obviously others. You were never guaranteed survival, but that's how most supers are lol.
