Agreed. The nerfs to the other options (Firebolt for Sunsingers and Incendiary for Sunbreaker) has only increased the popularity of these grenades. Why rely on gun skill when you can just throw a grenade and be guaranteed an easy kill?

Because it doesn't have much AOE, something like the storm grenade that storm callers use has a much larger AOE but can't oneshot people, these grenades can guarantee one kill, but not multiple like a larger AOE nade can, seems fair to me
-
I'd compare it to something like the Tripmines. I respect the people who are/were capable of sticking somebody with a tripmine, but I don't have that same respect for those using the fusion/flux because the grenades have so much tracking that you only need to throw close to the target.
-
Yeah, but those grenades are designed to be single target kills, I feel like magnetic should stay the same since that's one of the only good parts about my poor little baby the defender, but I can see them getting a sliiiiiight stick nerf? However I feel like magnetic should also stay how it is because I've been able to slide out of the second blast or even jump out of the first blast after being stuck
-
Defender has suppression grenades. Fusion and Flux are the primary offenders, IMO, since there's no way to counter them once you're stuck.
-
I agree with the last part, but idk I just find suppressions to be too situational, magnetic grenade has and always will be my favorite <3 that and disintegrate melee make defender so entertaining
-
Suppressors are unique in their ability to instantly shut down a super, but you're not wrong about them being pretty situational.
-
Huh, I didn't realize they could shut down supers... In all honesty I literally never used them and I main defender Titan lol... But good luck shutting down a blade dancer I'd like to see that happen
-
I've done it, and it's pretty funny to see them shop mid-swing.
-
I've got to try it now, just to make them suffer
