I think TLW needs to be nerfd more than anything. Idc about the damage as much as I do the fire rate and range; it shoots way too fast if you consider the damage it produces. Plus there's no fallout when shooting someone from a mid range distance which is ridiculous for a hand cannon.

It's already been nerfed to hell. The hip fire damage boost isn't even there anymore. It's a skill based weapon. It takes skill to use.
-
Editado por Killlerschaf: 7/28/2016 2:00:53 PMNo it isn't a skill based weapon. Just no. If there's any primary that substitutes skill, it would be TLW and the Grasp of Malok.
-
Don't forget Mida!
-
Again, your opinion. You're entitled to it. Doesn't make it fact.
-
It takes skill to use.
Ha ha
-
Oh you don't think so?
-
No. I'm saying this from personal experience. Just hold the trigger down and aim and you'll kill quicker than most weapons
-
And I'm speaking from personal experience. Bullshit.
-
Then you can't aim.
-
You can believe what you want dude i couldn't care less. I used the gun exclusively for a few months. I'm not the type of person who says a gun takes no skill or is OP because people kill me with it
-
And yet you are.
-
And what proof do you have to support that?
-
Which guns do you use?
-
Suros pdx 45, The Last word, Sometimes universal remote (if i'm feeling like a scrub)
-
Oh you shotty using SOB lol jk. Anyways, mind if I ask the specific reason as to why you want TLW nerfed? Also which specials do you use?
-
I never said I wanted it nerfed. It just takes no skill to do well with. I usually use snipers in PvP but i'll occasionally switch to a shotty if I'm going bad
-
Ok well then why do you feel like it doesn't take skill to use? Also, I use the same special setup lol
-
Because it has the fastest TTK in the game, nearly no recoil and is easy as eff to use?
-
That's your opinion and you are entitled to it but I will strongly disagree.

Editado por Killlerschaf: 7/28/2016 2:12:10 PMI've been playing since month 1 of Y1. I have over 10 days of playtime in the Crucible since I basically only play the PvP and guardian.gg ranks me as the 1000th player in the ladder in Control. There hasn't been a single weapon in the game that takes less skill to use than TLW, since I started to play this game. Compared to Thorn during the HoW, TLW was even cheesier with the 111 ADS glitch. Right now the weapon is braindead to use. Just spray and pray. You can miss 3 bullets, and you still kill faster than 95% of the other primaries. TFC is a weapon that takes skill. Performing well with the Red Death takes skill. But killing someone with a TLW means to use the second most broken weapon in the game. With Snipers being even more broken and the Grasp being slightly less broken.
-
I could name several different guns that are easier to use and kill just as fast as TLW but I'm not going to simply because I already have and I know you won't listen. But I will say that TLW works in the way that it is supposed to. At close range. Now please tell me how you can snipe with TLW because this is how these things usually go.
-
Editado por Killlerschaf: 7/28/2016 2:41:12 PMNo primary in the game kills faster. That's simply wrong. It's not a question of opinions here. TLW has the fastest TTK in the game. That's simply a fact. I'm also not talking about "sniping". The only HC that could "snipe" since HoW was TFC and that one got nerfed into the ground with the latest patch and changes to damage drop off. I'm talking about close to mid range. The weapon is far too forgiving and easy to use, to have such a low TTK. Which is pretty much the contrary of a weapon that needs skill.
-
Well then it should win in close to short mid range. Which it does. You see, there's a difference between "OP" and doing what it was built to do. It is an exotic after all. It's not your everyday legendary. What do you think should outgun TLW at what range?
-
Editado por Killlerschaf: 7/28/2016 2:50:58 PMThe argument was that the weapon takes skill. It doesn't. A weapon that doesn't take any skill to reach a close to optimal performance, shouldn't be allowed to have the fastest TTK in the game. That's just absurd, because nearly everyone with a modicum of aiming skills will nearly reach that TTK. A weapon that took skill was the Red Death when it could still 2 burst people. Only someone with perfect aim was able to do that and there was a clear separation between good and bad Red Death players. It's the same reason why I completely disagree with the design decision to make bullet hoses OP (Doctrine, Grasp, TLW). Bullet hoses are the easiest weapons to use as accuracy is only of secondary nature. A single missed bullet means nothing, at that RoF. High RoF weapons are by definition noob weapons, and should therefore always have a TTK above precision weapons. I'm not arguing that the weapon isn't working like Bungie intended. I'm arguing that their intention was idiotic.

I still can't wrap my head around why you think it doesn't take any skill to use TLW. Nowadays you can't just hold down the trigger. I don't know how you play but I tap the trigger. Only when there's an asshole with a universal remote will I hold down the trigger and pray that the bullets hit. Before the April update is when it didn't take any skill. You didn't even have to ADS back then. Just hip fire and hold down the trigger and you were guaranteed to win that gun fight. But now you have to ads and you have to tap for the best results. I mean come on, it's not like we're using a Mida here. We only have 8 shots and it takes four to kill with body shots and 3 with head shots at close to short mid range. That's like two kills and maybe three if you're in melee range. And that's assuming that all your shots connected which they don't always do whether it be due to ghost bullets or just bad aim. Sounds like it takes a damn good amount of skill to me.
