So recently my xbox one has been gratin up very quickly. I checked for dust and did the Hoover trick- it barely worked. I then tried putting a fab in next to it and it only worked a bit. Does anyone here on offtopic have any suggestions or tips??

Watercool it or install more fans.
-
Wrap it in towels. This will force the red rings and you can send it to Microsoft. They're giving away free Xboxes!!!!
-
Make sure there is space around the air vents and avoid stacking anything on top of it. Other than that, if it overheats in normal use, it may be defective.
-
Lick the front to turn it on, works for me.

3 RespuestasTry shutting it off and going outside for a while.

2 RespuestasDump water into the fan while it's on. If that doesn't work then try blocking the fan while it's running.
-
1 RespuestaTurn it off.

Soak it in briny slush

Tape a harmonica to the vent.

Idk. Maybe try getting a new fan?

If one fab does not work! Put 2 fabs! Duh...

2 RespuestasI don't have any cooling issues with mine. Are all of the vents uncovered? A blocked vent could be causing problems.
-
Try submerging it in water.

14 RespuestasI've found that if you simply sell the xbox one, and buy a PS4, you'll finally be able to get it up when you see a girl naked.

Stick it in the freezer overnight. This will get the internal components nice and cool so that they dont heat up so fast next time
