I could go either way on this. In my opinion the grenade works far better as a trap. And the kill potential is still there because sometimes it will bounce off the enemy and spin. When it detects the enemy in its path it explodes midair. Now more often than not this will not hit directly or may just do very minimal damage. But when you get that perfect timing it makes for one of those put it youtube moments

Trip mines aren't very reliable as traps. You would think with a "mine", the closer you are to it, the more deadly it is. This isn't the case for the trip mine. If you're right next to it, it only deals enough damage to take out your shield and around half your health. I've seen people walk right over a mine and survive. It deals damage in a cone shape, which is a terrible way to design a trap based grenade. When you need to work around its bad design and place it where people can't get too close OR too far from it, something is wrong. At least with a stick function, you can be sure you'll get the kill and not have to hope that they don't get too close to your grenade to survive. Lol. Just typing that out makes it sound terrible.

Editado por FullMetaZero: 7/23/2016 4:47:14 AMYou just gotta learn where to place it and know where the enemy is coming from. I sometimes get the most hilarious kills when I just throw it on a random wall. In my personal opinion it is one of the best grenades. It isn't a one hit kill but in a gunfight the enemy usually never takes notice of a stray mine and that leads to their downfall. I mean how often do you see ppl shoot traps out? My absolute favorite moments are throwing it on a wall next to a doorway as the enemy is stepping out and just hitting them with a quick shot from my primary. Who needs gunfights when the grenade does the work for you? lol but it is very limited on open maps :/
