Suppressor grenades can shut down supers and make it so people can't jump, sprint, or use their grenades. Now the hunter tether is strikingly
heh get it? STRIKEingly like striker...? No? I'll show myself out.
similar, but the tether is an entire super and the suppressor is a grenade. Kinda salty that a grenade = a super.

I main a hunter, but people are right. People who play hunter are kinda bitchy and get mad about everything so easily! I play hunter bcz i enjoy it, but i lately have been seeing so many people who main hunter going crazy about the smallest shit. Calm down guys and take a damn chill pill.

Mine must be broken because my suppressor grenades are instant kill in hit, are missing AoE duration and aren't giving me extra damage on suppression. Also it's wierd that when I throw them, I'm not getting damage mitigation, and I'm unable to spec for 3 grenades per use. I can't believe how similar they are given that the only attribute they share is suppression. So OP of defenders to have it.

Defender has an incredible amount of utility right now, suppresor grenade useful, and the universal remote, no back up plans build is incredibly strong right now.

4 RespuestasEditado por HELP1NG HAND: 7/21/2016 12:28:50 PMAside from the facts that: -it won't kill someone outright, even with a direct hit. -It can only be used once and then must be recharged like any other grenade (unlike the Quiver perk) -It has a far smaller area of effect and lasts for only one moment in time, while the Shadowshot lingers for extended periods and has the reach to choke off movement through entire sections of the map. -It won't punch through a Ward of Dawn, or effectively trap people inside of it. -Enemies suppressed by its effect do not take any extra damage when attacked. -The Defender must use great care when throwing it, as he can and will wound and suppress himself should he get caught in the blast of his own grenade. -The Defender gains no damage resistance while throwing it. -And does not drop orbs from kills with it... Then yes, its basically the same as the Shadowshot.

Hunters cry about everything
-
Really you have it backwards the grenade was there first just sayin
-
The suppression grenade is still just a grenade, mostly single target and in most cases won't kill. Nightstalker while still a support class is deadly when quiver is equipped. Can kill as well as tether enemies and suppress abilities and speed all at the same time. It's nothing like the suppression grenade, not even close.
-
I agree to some extent, but if you realize what defender class is, it's a support class, it's suppose to support your team which is does by shutting down supers, if you look at the super itself, it's the weakest super right now because it can't get any kills
-
Except that grenade doesn't make you stay in one spot and take extra damage. It also doesn't cover as big of an area.
-
Lol that spoiler
-
1 RespuestaWhat shocked me, and and be been playing since year 1, was that it takes you out of a super!!!! That's just blasphemy
-
Dude, it's in the defender subclass, give them something.
-
They need a grenade like that because they're super can't super anyone. It can't do any damage and you stare at the bubble and not get hurt
-
Terrible comparison.
-
Except you cant counter being tethered you can counter being suppresed
-
2 RespuestasYou can't tether yourself but you can accidentally suppress yourself.
-
Just about every time I use a suppressor grenade, I suppress myself...lol

2 RespuestasDude, Defenders are pretty much a fireteam's only heavy support unit. They're designed to make your team survive and help make it to where the enemy doesn't survive. Yes, Nightsalkers can trap and severely weaken the enemy team, and Sunsingers can assist in buffing your team's grenades and punches, but ONLY Defenders can literally put up a wall between you and the enemy. They can lock down an area -albeit a rather small area- unlike any other subclass. The supressor grenade, while annoying, isn't as completely overpowered as you think. It doesn't need any type of nerf. You just need to get good at dodging grenades.
-
Except that tether has a wider radius, significantly slows movement, and increases damage.
-
4 RespuestasThe grenade has, and will always be there since day one The grenade hardly does any damage Defender is a support class Shadow shot can kill, lock down whole fire teams, weaken them to take more damage and 3 can be shot if wanted Shadow shot makes you immobile suppression grenade does not Stop complaining about something thats not needed to be nerfed Do you want the grenade to stop them from jumping and running as well as shut down supers like shadow shot? At least if youre hit with a suppression grenade you can still haul ass out of there Stop...With..The...Nerf...Cries...
-
You can sprint in suppression nades. They don't stop that

2 RespuestasThe same could be said for sun singers
