To those who main Titans and Hunters...
I apologize.
Was mainly a warlock.
Always thought Titans were the go to OP class and the hunter Shadowshot was the most OP super... not so much now.
I just started playing Defender recently trying to level up for a Shaax quest, when I realized how wrong I was and how need to learn how to use EACH of the subclasses.
I'm trying to learn the nuances of all the subclasses now.
That way when Bungie gets nerf-happy on some subclass again, I'll be able to work with another.

I played as Defender Titan this IB, completed the Zavala's quest and grab my defender emblem. Super happy with this. Best experience I had: Run Weapons of Light, melted 2 guys with sidearm at insane range.

12 RespuestasDefender is amazing but void walker is hands down the best IMO right now. From top to bottom its superior in just about every way. Unlimited grenades, health regen, awesome exotics (voidfang and nothing manicles). Then add in tlaloc to the equation. Teaches you the value of super usage and risk vs reward.

I mained a warlock since beta. Was always annoyed by hunters and titans. Made a hunter for dark below and I stopped bitching about them once I learned how they worked. I now have a Titan, love playing as one and now fully understand the classes. I'm not a brilliant PVP player but playing PVP with all 3 has given me strategies to defeat them. Also knowing what your team mates can do in a raid as you know the classes strengths/weaknesses comes in handy strategically.

Everyone cries about defender titans until your ass is in trouble and then their the first one in the bubble... tuff in up cupcake! Learn how to play

3 RespuestasOne thing you'll quickly learn is how a guardian looks when they're coming to pop your bubble. They get this look in their eyes... Then they start running / gliding / skating towards you, not shooting or throwing grenades... Soon as you see that, let them smash your bubble while you take a step back charging your fusion rifle or whatever. 90% of the time, it works all of the time.

2 RespuestasPlaying defender means defending. Putting your teammates before you, making sure they get that heavy, making sure they capture that zone, win that gunfight, dont use your bubble just for your own personal gain, help your team out. 1. When youre using it, try to use weapons that cover close to long range engagements (scout rifle/shotgun or hand cannon/sniper) 2. Be versatile (or learn to be.) Try running different class setups for different game modes. In a gamemode like control you want to have... well... control! So try to make the subclass as controlling as possible. (Longer bubble, supression grenades, continuous force barrier. Armor or blessing.) but in a gamemode like clash, you want to be offensive (magnetic or spike grenades, war machine (weapons ready and reload fast) weapons of light) 3. Dont be "that guy." We all know that guy, the one who taunts people in his bubble, or sits down. Have fun and dont be a dick!

The striker class is my favorite cause of the flashbangs. Stormcaller for the speed on my warlock. As for Hunter I use them all cause its my main even with nerfs and tweaks I still have a new way to play.

2 RespuestasProtip for Hunter: Don't use Blade until you're very comfortable with the class in general. It's very unforgiving.

Taking people's advice, using Invective, and noticing that when I have bubble popped on a flag I can get easily swap kills, but I have been getting more than one, usually two kills while in bubble before a third player will get me. Outside of bubble, it's a different story. Getting put down by Longbow or Mida long before I can get to shotgun distance. Any suggestions?

3 RespuestasBeen playing defender this IB and really wish more people would tune in to chat - when they're not in a party. There's been so many times I've called it out and stood in my bubble for two minutes on B - with no one showing up. It's free orbs for the team mates and easier kills.

lol. Well glad someone else finally gets it. ;) I hate playing Titan, unless it's with Suncharge. Warlock is pretty much open, but I prefer Nova Bombs. Hunter main for sure, but I absolutely can't do Nightstalker. I could when I first used it. After I took a break, it just felt off.

8 RespuestasI thought the same. Was prooved wrong exept for the striker. Honestly without any hate they should adjust the radius or aomething. Not nerf its just that somethimes i used it and totally missed and got the kill somehow or somethimes i used it on somebody and got a double down on somebody through a wall. I just say they should. Not make it go through walls and do crazy things.

Pro Defender tip: run Armor of Light and dance at enemies while inside your bubble. If they dance back, pop out and shotgun them or throw a sticky.
