I don't understand why it's so difficult for them to find a normal, charismatic, reasonable candidate that they can rally behind.

Its hard because the party has been highjacked by the far right alienating more moderate Republicans. Not to mention that said far right refuses to make compromises. Without compromise, the government comes to a stand still and that's what we've seen happen within Congress.
-
One name: Rand Paul
-
I've been saying that for years.
-
One can dream
-
Paul is a hothouse flower who gets miffed and storms off in a huff anytime a reporter asks him a remotely difficult question. He's destined for permanent gadfly status unless he can shake the crybabyism.
-
Eh, Rand has great ideas and policies, but he isn't that charismatic.
-
People like that no longer exist in the Republican party.
-
Congratulations! You just described Ron Paul!
-
They found Rubio, but no one liked him.
-
There's a reason they called him the marcobot, dude could not have been less charismatic
-
Look who is running for the democrats
-
Shillary's a total puppet too, we were just on the topic of the GOP at the moment
-
Eh, I think Cruz and Rubio are good, they just need a charismatic VP
-
Egh, Cruz had some charisma but was way to "mix religion and politics" for most of the country. I didn't mind kasic but he didn't really have a chance either
-
Rubio was an establishment puppet.
-
they had one...Kasich
-
haha it's kinda hard when they need to rely on the Christian vote
