Petition for Ward of Dawn to suppress enemies that waltz into it.
analogy for stupid people:
>Think of a bubble as an enemy HQ
>Do you run into an enemy HQ screaming Leroy Jenkins?
>No you're not Neo or 007 or Ethan Hunter
>Should you be punished for doing something foolish?
>Yes
>*insert getting suppressed here*
>If you kill Titan in his bubble whilst suppressed then GG that guy probably shouldn't run bubble anyways.
EDIT: Make it an exotic perk on some armour.
-
An exotic perk would be fine, personally I just want the bubble to cancel evenly with other supers.
-
They should add it to St 14. Instead of blinding, which doesn't really do much.
-
I agree but also you my good sir are funny.

2 RespuestasEditado por XeroMovement: 7/18/2016 5:36:17 AMBeen thinking about this for a couple days now...An exotic helmet that makes the bubble not transparent to enemies. Basically the enemy can't see what is inside the bubble. Edit:The caster and allies can see through it.
-
3 RespuestasNo, come in our bubble. We have cookies and cake there! It is something you would regret avoiding.
-
2 RespuestasThe last thing I want as a bubble bro, is to have people not want to walk into my bubble. That's how I get super kills: Moth, meet flame.
>Should you be punished for doing something foolish?
Yes, and the punishment is the end of my shotgun.

I like the idea of this being an armor piece that way there is a trade-off. Helm of Saint-14 kind of does something similar to this but really isent that useful in PvP cause the enemy can just Fist of Havoc or Nova Bomb from the inside. I think the suppress ability by itself would be too good especially when paired with armor of light unless the suppress effect was a seperate ability node.
EDIT: Make it an exotic perk on some armour.
Great idea! How cool would it be if there was an exotic that blinded people when they entered the bubble...
-
3 RespuestasThis is funny because the proper way to run a bubble in PvP is with weapons of light. You're not supposed to use the bubble like a hideout..
-
This would be fantastic!
-
I love it how a bubble attracts the enemy team like a bug zapper.
-
Or a helmet that makes your Ward twice a large as long as you're in it...

1 RespuestaI don't understand how people are against this and I main a Hunter
-
6 RespuestasDefenders don't need buffs you have the best grenade in the game Suppressor Grenades

1 RespuestaEditado por kawristan: 7/18/2016 5:56:40 AMThe "should you be punished for doing something foolish" already exists (armor of light+shotgun).

2 RespuestasEditado por Kone19ps: 7/17/2016 2:36:13 PM...helm of st. 14. Also your bubble is not a base. More like the swat riot shield point man.

5 RespuestasIf you're getting killed by the enemy team inside your bubble, you should: A) Put on Armor of Light instead of Weapons B) Use a shotgun or melee, instead of trying to tickle them C) Pay attention and learn how to play. If they manage to kill you, you deserved it.
-
Noooooo
-
I like to go inside and nova the shit out of it. #worth
BTW Defenders need a buff
-
I prefer to scream "Leeroy Jenkins", actually.
-
8 RespuestasYes, and make it a default perk. It would be helpful, but not good enough to take it over another exotic. And for everyone else saying "But you already have suppressor grenades!" Go play as a Defender and try using them to shut down supers. It's not as easy as it sounds.
-
1 RespuestaI sure do want a buff to the defender. But doing this can make it hard for bungie to figure out how to make this work for everyone. I understand why you want this but I'm still stuck on both sides of this

1 RespuestaEditado por HarbingerOfWxbry: 7/17/2016 6:53:25 PMI would like an exotic helmet called vertigo that would suspend enemies in the air upside down for a few seconds if they enter the ward of dawn. That would be awesome. I also would like an exotic helmet with a snake head on it, call it viper and it would add venom to the ward of dawn. My personal favorite would be an exotic helmet that causes a giant hand to appear and gives the enemy a massive wedgie and suspends them in air by it for entering the ward of dawn. Call it butt-hurticus.

7 RespuestasNo cuase I love nova bombing the inside of bubbles.
-
6 RespuestasHow about just make it harder to break from the outside. As in, let it consume a whole super to pop it.

11 RespuestasEditado por iDovahBear: 7/17/2016 5:07:06 PMI kind of want this, but the problem is then that Fist of Havoc becomes an incompatible counter ability. Sure, Golden Gun and Nova Bomb can still break it and possibly kill a few of those inside. But Fist of Havoc would be incapable of precision landing inside for maximum effect. They might not even be able to kill a single person when smashing it, because they'd be forced to land just outside it. If they made an ability like this, they would have to shrink the area of effect and/or duration in my opinion. Which would make it a 100% Trials Flag trick or gimmick that even then, only stops Fist of Havoc. So yeah, while it doesn't seem outrageous as some people think, it would actually be less practical than most of us realize. It would really only deny Fist of Havoc, Bladedancer, Suncharge and a few Voidwalkers from jumping in, tossing a Scatter Grenade and jumping back out. Defender doesn't need this buff. It would just make it too powerful. I'm a fan of the subclass, but buffs need to be to the NEUTRAL game. That's where a Defender faces a true struggle that can only be bridged by gunskill. The Super is their greatest strength. I used to fight for Defenders tooth and nail: "They're the defensive Super, and yet they can't defend a Super." But the opposite would be just as true if it could: "These guys have 1HKO offensive Super, and yet they can't attack a Super." There needs to be parity. Unfortunately, the best parity in this situation is to create a scenario where the Defender can flee the Bubble just before dying to make it a trade of Supers with *hopefully* no deaths. What I think they could do is make it more practical to flee a Bubble, because right now risking an exit can actually allow a Nova Bomb to kill you from the opposite side of the bubble it landed on. However I do agree with someone else's idea for a buff that I saw a month or so back. Give the bubble an opaque dome perk that only allies can see through. This way they don't know if you've jumped out to dodge until it's too late, depending on your positioning. It could also have another perk to provide a tangible buff, maybe Bastion.
