Hey everyone! I'm getting really excited about no man's sky. I haven't been this excited for a game in a while. Anybody else planning on playing?
Edit: those who say this game will be repetitive, I hope you don't play games like CoD

8 RespuestasI watched the new trailer last night with the space and ground battles....now they have my attention!!!
-
8 RespuestasPeople are getting too hyped about it. Many will be disappointed.

14 RespuestasIt might be delayed further. They have run into more legal trouble concerning the formula used for generation. Its patented by another company and they havent licenced it. Whether they have to scrap the game or pay licensing all comes down to how much they have changed the code from the patented one which they admit to having used as a base apperently. No mans sky is at the mercy of another company. Apperently the patent owners dont want to stop release so they just want no mans sky to license it and it saves a long legal battle.

I just hope that people aren't expecting too much from it. I think i have a good understanding of what the game will be and i will be really happy if they can deliver on that, but some people i think are expecting alot. Going into it, assume there will be no multiplayer, no clear story, no 'quests', no companions, no building, no civilizations (cities etc.). The game is meant to be a single player experience and the 'objective' is to collect resources to upgrade your ship/suit so that you can reach the centre of the universe. You collect resources by exploring, fighting, trading, mining etc. That's the pitch. That's all you should expect.

It looks amazing. I can't wait.

4 RespuestasUs go if to get delayed lololololololololol they used some ones thingy to help make the game and didn't licence it hahaha haha. Releases in 2025 lmao
-
3 RespuestasI will wait outside the closest gamestop for launch, buy it, go to my house, DL the game then try to kill myself in game, hopefully I will be the first one to die in No Mans Sky.
-
There is way too much hype for this indie game. I worry it will "flop" even though it was really cool.
-
I think it looks like an ambitious indie game that has been massively overhyped and is going to receive a luke warm reception on release.

1 RespuestaI just bought the Horizons Season Pass for Elite: Dangerous, and it's amazing. The experience of landing on a planet and driving around in a rover is awesome. I can't wait to play No Man's Sky on PC. These games look repetitive, but they aren't meant (imo) for long play sessions.

9 Respuestas*Looks over at Elite: Dangerous* ...nahhhh

3 RespuestasI'm going to burn every planet to the ground. Why?
Did you just assume may morals?
-
I'll give it a shot if it gets VR support, but the game seems like it will get boring really fast. Probably after the second planner I explore if I'm lucky.
-
My body is ready AF.
-
5 RespuestasLet us hope that this will be better than the order 1886
-
I ordered a gaming rig recently, and I'll be playing NMS on that
-
I'm waiting for it to be successful or flop.
-
11 RespuestasI'd say i'm interested. I honestly don't know if i'd like it enough to get excited for. Endless exploration just sounds boring to me, so i'll wait till i know more on gameplay.
