I agree with the class items. I was always on here bitching about getting class items, but now that I have gotten every Variks weapon (except hand canon, which I don't want anyway) at least once (three hand of judgments) I guess I play a lot of CoE!
I'll be honest, I'm getting a little bit bored of CoE now. And as I said, I have all the weapons. First one I ever got was the Hand of Judgment, which I love because it hits like a truck! it has Outlaw, which is nice, but all other perks are crap. But last night, I got my 3rd HoJ, and this one (currently on my titan) is sweet!! good for both PvE and PvP because it has firefly and 3rd eye in the same column! just swap out depending on PvE or PvP!
so maybe I will rethink this whole Variks thing! I was trying for so long to get the Aegis of the Reef. Finally got it with full auto, but it absolutely sucks compared to my Grasp of Malok and Hawksaw. So maybe if I keep grinding, I'll get a better roll on that too!

No you won't. A perfect Aegis of the reef is comparable to the hawksaw, but a decent grasp is better due to the magazine size and faster rate of fire. If that's all you're looking for, stop now and spend your time elsewhere. You already have a great hand of judgement so what's the point?

yeah I agree. Not sure why I do it TBH...did it on my third character last night and got another 330 class item....but I did get the last HoJ ship. I am kind of a collector. even though I most likely would not use the hand canon, I'm curious. And the Soulstealers Claw single-handedly got me into PvP! I've done the last 2 IBs because my bud told me the SS Claw would own in IB, and I love it! again, not the best perks, so maybe I could get a better one? but you are right about the Aegis of the Reef. everyone I know told me it sucks, and with that small magazine size, I can see why. the stability on it is terrible, so most times, as I'm just about to get a kill, wouldn't you know it? I'm out of ammo! but if I'm patrolling, it's nice to use; just hold down the trigger and let that full auto take over!
