You didn't play trials due to like 20 people... That's gotta be the stupidest reason I've ever heard

  • Not streamers specifically, but anyone who keeps playing after everyone's been to the lighthouse. If it were a matter of great players knocking out their lighthouse runs on Fri/Sat then I could have a chance merely to complete some bounties on Sunday. If I never get to the lighthouse I'd be fine with that, but as it stands I've never had more than a few wins before getting stomped.

That makes a bit more sense :). But in saying that, I respectfully disagree with OP's suggestion. Why? Well. Because I'd say it hurts the spirit of trials. Mind you so do trials carry-ers. Maybe I'm right when I say this, or maybe it's because I'd say I'm naturally reasonably good at FPS. Maybe Its because I find it easier to go flawless that I say this. I quite simply cannot understand implementing such a system. However I realise that not all people are like me, not all are able to easily go flawless. I guess the 'walking in someone else's shoes' really applies here. It would be frustrating to constantly be battered down when attempting to go flawless. I'm sorry for the lack of logical progression/structuring in the above paragraph. It was sort of a run on thought.

  • It's frustrating to average crucible players simply due to the fact that it's the one activity in Destiny not everyone can do. Raids require finding a team, but really anyone can do them. Trials is an exercise in getting your butt kicked for a lot of people. I'd be fine with that if on the final loss you got dumped some "mercy gear". Maybe not anything high light, but still Trails-specific. I'd grind all day for some of that stuff. But as it stands there's no real way for poor/average players to get good gear. Bounties help, but take forever.
