Please believe me as a female, if we ever say I'm okay or I'm fine it means we really aren't we just want you to pry and try to break down our defenses to find out what is wrong. We think by doing that it tells us you care. We are insecure by nature and constantly need confirmation that our men care about us. We also want our men to be able to know what's wrong without us telling you. I know that's like mind reading but it's true. It makes us feel good that you know us well enough to know when something is bothering us.

Pro tip: we only ask what's wrong when we think there's something wrong. So we can tell, but we expect some honesty.

You ask them what's wrong and they say everything's fine, they were just thinking. You assume this is the truth as you have been asked the same question many times before, when you were just thinking. But you are boy, and she is grill. What do you know? You say something along the lines of: "Oh ok you just looked depressed". She smiles and says something (I don't remember) and you both continue with your lives. Did I rightly assume in this situation, or was she actually depressed? I was friendzoned at the time so maybe that had something to do with the response? One minute after edit: What is they don't give a reason but are actually fine? How does one tell? I'm taking this chance of finding a grill on the Internet to ask all of my questions.

I have always been curious about that. Why not just tell the guy instead of the mind games? It saves a lot of trouble.

I know that would make the most sense right? I dunno, women like testing men. I think its just a check to see how well you know them and how much you care.

I guess, but most of the times, guys show they care in other ways. For example, when my lady and I go shopping, I pay close attention to her and what she looks at. I do this because I am constantly looking for a way to surprise her. I don't know how to feel about those tests though.
