How did Titan suddenly become OP?
Titans have been the same since the December update. They've been balanced and some would say the worst class from December till June.
But now since Hunters got nerfed, they're suddenly OP??? Something doesn't connect here.

Because Bungie nerfed the -blam!- out of other shit. Now Titans are the "go too". Activision and Bungie are doing this on purpose. COD was down on players, Activision told Bungie about it, so Bungie nerfed shit. Now some of those that got pissed moved back to COD. Win Win for Activision.

lightning grenades have always been amazing. Shoulder charge is still borderline impossible to counter unless you are running a shotty. Every hunter Subclass took a hit. Sunsinger are TRASH now. people are going to say X needs a nerf after what they use gets nerfed. same with Midah after the pulse rifle nerf. I have mained a hunter since launch but after recent tweaks, running a striker titan I have the best K/D and trials performance overall. I still can't get over how much faster my titan is than my hunter but that's another issue that pretty much can't be fixed.

Because they are not OP.,minus a few weeks of hammer time Titans have been the weakest for pvp since this game came out.

They didn't become OP. They just became more used, so it feels OP to you because you see more of them. Ontop of that, many players who switched are not skilled enough to do anything else than shoulder charge. The older Titan players use other skills and supers (such as bubble), so this also makes it feel more "OP". Remember, the majority of people have multiple characters and they swap around as the game meta changes with Nerfs / Buffs.

I don't think that any class is particularly OP right about now, though each class most certainly has something about them that makes playing against more annoying then it is fun. Witch is unfortunate, especially since I use to play crucible all the time. Just waiting for the Rise of Iron. P.S From my point of view as to why the k.ds vary from each class is due to the play styles that each class/subclass invokes. At least from my side I tend to be very aggressive on the Titan and Warlock witch leads to more openings. The consequence being the slightly lesser k.d when compared to my hunter. :3

Shoulder charge, shotgun, win. That's the crucible right now. No skill, just sprint for a couple seconds, press your melee button, shoot the guy behind him, sprint again, occasionally fist of havoc one person and T-bag them. Look, now you're good in the crucible.

The Titan didn't change, the other subclasses did. They got weaker. The Titan now has the strongest subclasses in Crucible. I never made one and am missing out on this new meta. Oh well 70 days or so and when ROI is released there will be something different.

Only thing titans have is a bubble and havoc, hammers suck now. They are now the weakest class. Hunters can stop a super in its tracks or use golden gun. Only thing I see wrong with warlocks is the electric super is way to long, they should have no shield or less health and the duration should be half the time.

I feel you. But i feel like it's select people that try to control the opinions of the masses. I mean think about it for a while... Certain people with certain opinions and certain wants try to plague the forums with what they want. Soon, the opinion becomes mainstream and bungie will have no choice but to nerf the select item. But we titans won't go out without a discussion fight! That's my theory.

Is this a class-war post? Are you actually calling titans op? I don't think they're OP. I think some of the nerfs that Bungie has handed out to [u]all[/u] classes have been uncalled for.

Lmao I've read this kind of post in here a million times. Ok people this is the deal ok. Play all three characters until you are good then choose one and go kill in the crucible. No one character is better than the rest. Its all on your competence as a player. Soooo if you play all three until you are halfway decent then this whole class warfare becomes a mute point. Its so ridiculous reading this incessant whining about hunter this titan that warlock touched me on my peepie bungie plz nerf. Just play all 3 and shutup!!!!!!!!! Ok I feel better now))

I never felt that they were op. Fist of panic was annoying, and bubbles over objectives. But not any more so than blade dancers surviving rocket blasts or reviving warlocks with ram. I think destiny's multiplayer tries to function like call of duty's with tight paths and what not, when players are to powerful for such confined spaces. It needs more structure with bases and game modes like ctf
