Are people purposely going into raid teams and ruining the experience for others? I was fighting golgoroth and some kid ran behind him and said he knew what he was doing.
During the totems, when we where switching another guy ran towards the thralls span gate when we told him to go in the middle, and he said "i am going to the middle, look!
Are they really that clueless? Or just assholes?

2 RespuestasI had a guy who literally couldn't jump on his plate at Oryx. He was a Titan, and he couldn't do it. Like, wtf?

4 RespuestasEditado por Wheeze: 7/8/2016 2:56:46 PMI'm not going to pretend to be a KF veteran, but my last couple of raid attempts have been extremely unpleasant. Last time, I spent close to 4 hours with the same group, and it was awful. It took forever to down Golgorath because, among other problems, the corrupted light guy or whatever kept wiping the DPS team like a moron. Your screen is glowing. Don't you think that's weird? And we could not down Oryx. Couldn't do it. We had to keep 5 manning it because someone would die on their plate at like, the first wave. Then, we'd detonate all 16 orbs (supposedly), but somehow only get Oryx down to half health. I'm not experienced enough for trouble shooting, I only know what I'm supposed to do, but what the hell? At least the dude from New Zealand was funny... The time before that was even worse, but that was just because the people I was playing were so. -blam!-ing. Annoying. One dude just ran his -blam!-ing mouth the entire time. Would not shut up. At one point he just randomly says to me, "Hey Wheeze -blam!- your beta emblem." And I'm like, what? Why are you trying to pick a fight with me? I normally have fine experiences on LFG, but the last couple attempts have made me extremely hesitant to attempt another KF run. It's going to be even worse now as people scramble to get MoT2 completed.

lol today I got confused while I was torn.....I though a titan bubble was the left daughter.
Dude where are you going? You're supposed to go for the one that's not super sayian. Aaahh.... :(
3 RespuestasIt won't save you from trolls, but you'll know a little quicker if they're yanking your chain.

1 RespuestaMay have just been a communication problem. You were referring to the middle plate...and he might have been thinking you wanted the middle area taken care of as far as enemies. I don't do it. But many people like to get as close to spawn sites as possible in PVE so that they can take advantage of the chokepoint, and do maximum damage for minimum effort. So he may have known what to do, but was just going about it in a different way than you would have....or would have expected someone else to.

I can usually tell who is genuinely having issues and who is just messing up on purpose, I usual give 2 chances for the people who mess us up on purpose, then they're out of here. ~TheGreatNike

2 RespuestasI've had way too many people say that they know what they're doing and then screwing up every other round in these past few days. Oryx challenge mode is becoming a huge pain for me as that's one of the last calcified fragments that I need and I have given it about 3 tries with different groups and all with the same problem. I think the raid is too much mechanic based for the average destiny player to understand. If I had a raid group that would take a huge load off, but playing with randoms is terrible on this raid. I'll probably give it another go tonight after work though :D
-
Probably both

3 RespuestasSpeaking of Oryx strats, people have told me to do bubble up top (or whoever is doing middle). There is then the usual "but if he(or she) puts it down in middle, people can be safe if the relic runner is behind."
But when I'm the relic runner, the knight is usually late...

Also is there a record for fastest daughter relic run? My fastest was 0:44.
5 RespuestasAt this point most people who know what to do in raid have stopped doing it
-
How about "clueless assholes"? And if they are squeeker showoff kids, that is nothing new. Those types are all over the raid and LFG sites. Avoid at all costs.
-
7 RespuestasFor raid trolling, nothing beats a well timed Titan bubble on the Crota ledge just as the sword runner says fire. GUARDIAN DOWN GUARDIAN DOWN GUARDIAN DOWN GUARDIAN DOWN richghost77 dances
-
It's probably more that they are a high light level and you expect them to know what they are doing but they don't.
-
Ya, that happened to me to several times, that's why I didn't join out side of clan anymore
-
4 RespuestasNow that MoT has come stay farrrrrrrr away from the raid. The raid is being infested by scrubs. These people can't follow directions, can't communicate properly, and can't learn mechanics. That is the whole reason why they still haven't completed it. Trust me, pretend the raid no longer exists unless you have a set team.
-
And some idiots want matchmaking lol.

I don't know if some are trolling, but the amount of people still jumping into hard mode without having done normal or having a clue what the fuck to do because they're too retarded to look shit up on the internets is still staggering. A kid made us waste half an hour in oryx last night because he couldn't back me up un the center killing ogres (he had Colovance as his only or best primary ffs) and he couldn't hold a plate or snipe the knight (probably didn't have a sniper worth a damn either). Of course, he was the host and probably pretended us to carry him through. We almost five manned the thing but luck just wasn't with us yesterday, so we ditched him as soon as we could when he went afk. The dumbass probably wondered what the hell happened when he came back and found himself alone in the throne room.
-
5 RespuestasAsk for an emblem that shows they've at least beaten normal. May sound elitist, but at least you know they've seen it ONCE.

Editado por MEGAJEFF: 7/8/2016 10:40:38 AMIt's just people that don't really know what's going on blagging their way into raids by keeping quiet during team gathering. I've heard "I've watched youtube videos on it" being said followed by "but this is my first time in a raid" alot more since the lvl cap increased to 335. We carried a guy thru oryx challenge. His first raid. The drops he got and his reaction was worth it. But his chill persona an general overall skill was a rarity. Usually its someone with a bad attitude, shit skills an a big mouth.

3 RespuestasRan into a few of these last night as i was trying to help my sister complete her MoT..and it was intentional too, because right after they screwed it up for her they would scream laughing then depart
-
possibly both. MoT has been unleashed and expect guardians that have never done a raid to be crawling out of the woodwork to get MoT done. People will lie at the best of times to get into raid groups, but its probably going to be bad for a week or 2

1 RespuestaDo you think they're working on the year two moments of triumph?
-
Most of the time it is "kids" and there excuse is normally well you were probably gonna kick me before Oryx. And like yeah I will now.
-
4 RespuestasYes they are, damn thought I was the only one until it happened three times in a row, wtf is wrong with kids? (Now I'm strict when I make a fireteam)
