Not touching D2 unless there are several changes.
-Dedicated servers
-Much more content, added gradually, not like ttk waiting an entire year for DLC
-More sensible weapon patches, not where an archetype has its season of power before it's nerfed and another takes it place.
-Custom games
-Not making my grind worthless come next DLC, still angry about Y1 gear being worthless in anything other then normal pvp
-Less rng dependantcy, I hate farming an entire package just to get some stupid armor or class item, the way the April update Y1 weapons drop is ridiculous, first you have to hope for a weapon not armor, then for the weapon to be the right type (primary special or heavy), then for it to be the gun you were after (longbow, ldr) then for it too have good rolls.
Have a selection of choices when ranking up: for example Shaxx would offer you a armor, primary, special or heavy gift, that way it's still rng which weapon and rolls, but at least you can narrow it down abit
Same with the factions and stuff.
And why are nightfall rewards trash?
Why aren't all strikes and raids current? Why cut out content that's already there?

Yet they will not make the new shit good so make old gear redundant to force everyone to use new shit. Then they nerf or flat out remove the perks that made our old shit good even though we can't fukin use them any more! Bungie logic is fukin broken! To increase diversity (as is they're stated intended goal) they have to add viable options not take away the few we have. The fact they can't grasp that simple concept is deeply disturbing. (As a collector I'd probably grab it anyway but whatever) Also they removed elemental primarys to increase diversity. Instead of Arc: Fatebringer, ldr, thunderlord Void: Word, Efrideets, corrective measure Solar: vision, hammer, gally It's: Hung jury, 1K stare and quillums or a sword. Nice diversity, definitely worked

I could use anything I wanted in Y1 as well. Some gear is more effective then others, bungie felt Y1 elements made people choose the guns. So they replaced the 3-4...with...er, a single gun.....

Not everyone just uses a single gun in PVE. Again, sounds like a YOU problem if you only use Hung Jury

Don't be antagonistic, almost everyone uses hung jury exclusively in pve. [b]You[/b] may not, most randoms and teammates I've seen do, and that's exactly what bungie was supposedly trying to avoid, they only made it worse.

I blame PvP for the lack of new good ideas. I think the devs or the moron in charge of them is scared of anything being "OP" in PvP and makes everything PvP "balanced" no matter how lackluster it would be in PvE. Because the lazy fuks can't be assed separating the modes required nerfs.

I honestly wouldn't like this game as much if the grind wasn't there. The excitement I had for a gally in year one cemented that for me.

There's a difference of getting an exotic which drops from almost any activity and getting something out of a single source, also gally had set perks. Imagine if you could only get gally from 3 bosses, most of the time it dropped armor, when it dropped a weapon it wasn't always a heavy, when it was a heavy it wasn't always gally, when it was gally it wouldn't always roll Wolfpack rounds and other perks. It's not removing the grind, it's making it less and therefore more likely to get a roll on a gun you want, I still have not seen an ldr drop and my only longbow is trash.

Same with the sniper drops but it's just one gun I have plenty of good guns. I'm honestly perfectly happy how it's set up now. The only thing you said that I agree with is old guns being left behind. Dedicated servers won't fix the problem because they're expensive and if they don't have enough, you're going to have more problems and I don't run into a ton of lag anyway. Custom matches isn't a big deal to me, the only reason halo customs were so much fun was because of forge. I can tell you that in cod unless I was playing in gamebattles I never touched it because it was pointless. The content drought sucked but every big game has them and I would rather wait a year for another game sized expansion then get the dark below every 3 months.

Some people for example don't have the FWC, cruicble or IB new ships even at faction rank 100+ just make it abit easier with a category system. Dedicated servers won't fix the problem because they're expensive? They would certainly fix many of the issues, bungie has made a fortune off destiny, if they want to make another fortune they should invest in a server and see how many of the people who left come back.
